Decent hotel, lying staff

Good location and spa amenities. However, the bathrooms had soapscum and grimy tile, didn’t seem like the cleanest. I requested a late checkout (2pm) given my Gold status but staff and manager, said no, citing the hotel was sold out, which was a blatant lie as there were still rooms available for reservation on Marriott’s site. I did not appreciate being lied to so I wouldn’t stay here again.

We visited in the summer months without specific activities planned. It’s in the heart of Whistler village and within walking distance of the supermarket so you can utilize the full kitchen. We got the 2 bed suite: 1 bedroom had a queen the other bedroom had 2 twins and a mini bar in the room. Also had 2 full baths and washer/dryer in the room. Both rooms had a TV along with the TV in the living room. The fireplace was a nice feature! The shampoo/conditioner that is provided was very nice, smelled great and left hair soft. Not a single complaint. Avalanche pizza also delivers to your door here :) everything was very well designed/planned for use and what you would expect from a Marriott.
