It was very nice and clean and real close to everything on the strip. I booked and didn’t know there wasn’t a casino inside. Luckily we was by everything. Nice reminded me of a mini apartment. Nice getaway

We went for my wife’s 30th. Did the Mobile check in so we didn’t have to wait in line. Room was very clean. We stayed here because I stayed for my bachelor party and the rooms don’t disappoint. Would totally stay here again

    Tried a new MGM Hotel

First things first... This was during the 25% occupancy for the covid BS so take this with a grain of salt. I will start by saying it is a very nice place to stay if you just want a hotel. Very nice, actually. Security was a little obnoxious. Being asked to see my room card every time we entered the elevator seems dumb to be. I have to use the card to get up the elevator, if I didn't have one it would be obvious. We didn't realize there wasn't a casino in the hotel. That's our fault I guess but it wasn't ideal to have to go next door. Having no place to store our bags when we were early was super weird and a bad look. Not sure if covid was the reason but it sucked. Not knowing that there were no places to eat on site wasnt ideal as well. Like I said in the beginning it is a VERY nice hotel.

I've been staying at a lot of the othe MGM properties for years, and I was in the mood for a change so I tried Vdara. It's a good distance walk from the strip when the tram in not running. You can go through Bellagio, through Cosmopolitan, or through Aria in about 20 minutes. My room was a 'Panoramic Suite', and I was so excited about it! The surprise was that the neighboring rooms also get a panoramic view inside your room, and you can see right into theirs! Once I noticed this i had to keep the blinds closed all the time on 50% of the view. The furniture and materials are of the lowest quality, being all scarred and scratched even though it's not very old. The worst part was the service at check out. NO ONE was there. The elevator security guys told me to use the phone on the desk. I called and got a message "All of our representatives are busy, please hold" at 5am. I waited and waited, but nothing. THEN I needed a cab. ZERO there, and no one to call a cab. This became a near panic situation where i could miss my flight. Since when does a hotel brand itself as "stylish setting, modern amenities and exceptional service" not have a single human at the main SERVICE DESK!

Very nice hotel, loved the atmosphere, the location & amenities! The concierge and front desk staff were very helpful and made my birthday surprise to my hubby everything I wanted it to be. I will definitely be staying there again!
