Conveniently located to Poipu beach/ shopping area. Location: All the hotels is basically on one street. Easy 10mins to the Grand Hyatt if you have a conference or dinner reservation at Tidepools. I won't advise walking, no clear pedestrian area. Staff: Friendly and courteous. House keeping did an amazing job, if you don't want to be disturb for that 8am clean just put a sign on the door. Ppl are on vacation 8 am is simply too early. Room: set up is similar to condo in which you have all your necessities such as a kitchen area with a mini cook top, refrigerator, microwave, laundry which includes washer/ dryer. Comfy bed, patio area, elevator building and a great AC unit. Family oriented premises: yes, nice pool for kids and a few hot tubs for adults to relax. With the above mention, we went to the local supermarket and bought beers, water, and snacks and stored it in our room. This definitely saves money, esp if you travel with a family. Restaurant: Food at the hotel was a lil pricey. I would say to venture out and eat at the shopping center filled with lots of great restaurants up the street. Uber is available, but it's not like the big city where you can get a ride in 5mins, wait for me was no more than 10mins. The hotel can also provide you with local taxi service numbers. I would definitely return to this hotel. Mahalo!

Wish we booked our whole trip here! Wonderful experience so far!

I never post reviews during a stay but this place warrants an exception. Stayed at the other two Sheratons prior and they're no match if you're a Marriott Bonvoy customer. The staff are all so welcoming, offering a great upgrade without even asking for one as well as accommodating a late checkout (Thanks Jay! This rarely occurs on MB properties for gold/platinum members). The welcome gifts are a unique touch and appreciated. Resort has every amenity imaginable and the grounds are ideal for all ages, especially the pool areas (right, areas, there are several). Holoholo Grill at the lower pools is worth its own excellent review too!

We spent six nights in a 2 bedroom villa at Koloa Landing from 1/2-1/8/2020. I highly recommend it. It was clean and comfortable. We also appreciated that it wasn’t loud. We took advantage of the coffee and the pineapple water every morning in the lobby. It isn’t on the beach but very close and we had a ocean front view which was terrific. The pools do get busy just like at any resort but they were never crowded. We checked out towels to use at the beach or pool every day. Don’t hesitate to stay here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will be back!!!

We stayed at this property during the week after Christmas with our family group of 18. We rented 5 one-bedroom villas for our group and found the the villas to be perfect for our family reunion. The location is very convenient although no direct beach access. Poipu and other beaches along with shopping and restaurants are very close. Our younger grandchildren loved the pools. We had one ADA room which was very convenient for a person in a wheelchair. Having the washer/dryer in each unit was also a great feature. The front desk staff and others were very accommodating and helpful. Our package included a food and beverage credit and there was some confusion on our part about how it worked. The front desk staff resolved the problem to our satisfaction. Overall, it was a delightful visit and we would definitely stay here again.

    Spent Christmas Week Here

Not the typical Marriott, this is fun family resort with more of a time share vibe. It includes a good restaurant - which we tried once for dinner and once for breakfast - both good meals. An added bonus is the fact that the sun sets on the ocean side of the resort. While several options exist to pay $50 or more for a “sunset” tour at a nearby resort, here you can sit on a wall across the street and watch it set for free. The resort lost power for about a day when a tropical storm came through on Christmas Eve but it hardly disturbed anything. One gets the feeling that the island loses power frequently and folks have learned how to deal with it. You just keep doing the same thing, just in the dark. Front desk staff was always helpful. The 24 hour store was convenient but the food wasn’t much to write home about. We enjoyed the spa - that was a reasonably priced service for what was received. There was also an option to eat Christmas Day lunch at the resort for $75 each. We signed up for it but wish we hadn’t. The food was fine but it was not worth $75, especially when you had to pay for drinks on top of that plus a built in gratuity of $25. So we spent about $200 when we could have (and should have) gone to a nearby restaurant (which we learned were all open) where we could have spent half that. Oh well. The pool, once we managed to grab a chair, which were at a premium, was enjoyable. We ordered a drink, swam in the pool and used the jacuzzi. Overall, we would not stay here again because we’d like better amenities, better view, and to be on the beach. If we had kids, and they needed a pool, this would be great for them - there is even a water slide. But for a couple traveling alone looking for Hawaiian relaxation and pampering, this may not be the best option.
