    The Hotel was good but they should not charge additionally for Internet in this age . In the ages gone by when internet was expensive it was understandable but charging for Internet in this age does not make sense

    The hotel is perfectly located in the terminal. We arrived late, had pre-checked and were welcomed by very friendly staff at the escalator, taking care of our bags. The room was large and Fairmont quality throughout. The bar is great for a late night drink by the fire, and breakfast buffet first class. The hotel#s shuttle service to the south terminal is very convenient. Definitely the place to stay at YVR airport.

    This hotel is exceptional. The service of the staff cannot be surpassed. They go above and beyond. The restaurant at the hotel is terrific. Best roast chicken we have had ever. The rooms are extremely large and well laid out. Beds are very comfortable.

    YVR Fairmont - Incredible Staff

    We stay at the YVR Fairmont before and after each of our flying holidays as we live on Vancouver Island and fly to/from YVR as a departure/return point - usually about three pre and three post visits per year on the Gold Floor. We just returned from our last trip and I wanted to share what a wonderfully positive experience the staff continue to make for us. It begins with a warm and friendly "Welcome Back" from one of the Doormen, usually Daryl or Fidel, both of whom always greet us with a big smile. Any concerns or questions are always addressed at the front desk, often for us by Kelly who has more than once offered valuable suggestions and assistance. This past time on our pre-trip night we were welcomed by Juana on the Gold Floor with another big smile and a "Welcome Back". She then made sure we had everything we needed before turning in. In the morning, Anastasia and Jason greeted us again with big smiles and a "Welcome Back". They all make it feel like a second home. On our return trip we were again welcomed by Anastasia and Jason who again went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Before we left the following morning, Anastasia helped us with our next reservations. As it happened that day, our flight home was cancelled due to fog, but again between Anastasia and Jeany, we were able to get a Gold Floor room which we confirmed from one end of the airport, and by the time we walked there, the room was ready complete with a hand written welcome note. Jeany then made sure we again were well cared for. And again in the morning we were taken very good care of by Anastasia and Jason. As we left on the way to our plane, Fidel made sure to catch up to us to say good bye. I congratulate the Fairmont on the fine people you have on your team. We appreciate them all very much and look forward to many more stays at the YVR Fairmont Gold - we are already booked for March, 2020.

    The hotel is lovely, beds excellent, location great, restaurant pricey but good. Check in and out was automatic. But we advise to check your bill....if you touch but do not use anything in bar fridge, you will automatically be charged.
