Absolutely Do not stay there! by far the worst Hotel i Have ever stayed at. Looks real good in the pictures but do not believe it. So many things were wrong not enough space to mention all of it. All you need to know is do not stay there!!!!!

To start, we had requested additional pillows. The pillows were NEVER delivered, had to go down and get the pillows. The request was acknowledged at check-in but told staff was waiting for the room to be assigned. The room was hot and musty smelling upon arrival. Took time to cool down the room once we turned the a/c on. Several outlets were not operational thus unable to charge our phone. Only outlet that worked was the a/c, & kitchen. The one near the bed kept cutting off which effected my relatives CPAP machine. The bathroom appeared to be renovated with an oversize cabinet. One of my family members is a very tall man causing the usage to be uncomfortable. The tub was damaged with huge areas missing plaster. The dust in the room was extremely thick, appeared baseboards haven't been cleaned in an extremely long time. There was roaches running across the bathroom floor. The ceilings were peeling and flaking off. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. I understand this isn't a luxury hotel but this hotel is in disrepair and the rates don't reflect the condition. Overall, the condition of the room on our stay was less than satisfactory. I wouldn't recommend this property for anyone. It felt like we checked into a frat house and I've seen frat houses in better condition than this property

location is good, but the rooms are not clean at all. stains everywhere. utensils and kitchenette stuffs doesn't look like they've been cleaned.

Island Colony’s in the heart of Waikiki and you can get everything you need in a walking distance. Some of the staff were a bit cold but some were quite nice and helpful— it really goes by the individual. The hotel might as well provide them some training. The cafe in the lobby is not bad either. Quite a lot of police cars and fire trucks are around this area — I strongly recommend to ask for the upper floor. A heads-up, walking on the main street instead of walking on Ala Wai (especially at night) when you’re heading back to Island Colony. I once saw a man with a knife standing at the corner of Ala Wai not far from the hotel (perhaps it’s the reason of the police cars). In general it’s still considered a pleasant place to stay at. Staying alert is always a wise thing to do when you’re in an unfamiliar place no matter what. PS: I grew up in Honolulu myself so if anyone needs advice before you travel, feel free to drop me a line ??

Brian does an amazing job. He is always there for any of our needs. The bed do need to be replaced they are hard to sleep on.
