Went for a fast trip (2 nights) on a weekend late July. The rooms are clean, bathroom well stocked and also clean. The reception desk handled us quickly and efficiently, no issues with my reservation. I had a day bed reserved for the following morning and had no problems with the pool staff. The service at the pool was top notch.... It does give you the sense you are staying at the largest "Homewood Suites" ever, tho... A small lobby bar, a Starbucks and a Mini-Mart style eatery in the lobby and that's about it. Anything else you need to troop over to Aria or Bellagio. I would agree with the other reviewers that the hotel is short staffed - Most of the pool folks were from Aria and a single front desk person. That being said - they were great, just not too many of them. Finally, unless you are in great shape the range for walking about is kinda limited - This pace is in the very rear of City Center, and while one could argue that it takes a long walk to get anywhere in Vegas, This is a pretty good haul to anywhere past City Center or Bellagio.

    Unmatched!

We booked the Executive Corner Suite, and they gave us the penthouse upgrade without even asking - epic upgrade! Easily the best room we ever stayed at in Vegas. Two bedrooms, two full bathrooms with two-person tub, and walk-in shower, washer/dryer, full-kitchen with a massive refrigerator, almost all Bosch appliances, motorized curtains, shower robes, and flip-flops! Unmatched views of the Bellagio fountains, and Paris Las Vegas Eiffel Tower. In these coronavirus times, they have the temperature checks at the door, free masks/sanitizer stations, and every room is given cloth masks with Vdara logo, bottle of sanitizer, and a MGM resort door opener. The only downsides are minor. The Keurig machine only had de-caf pods (who drinks that swill?!) , neither the tubs were a jacuzzi-style, and then the views/windows were so expansive (like over 200 degree view!) that the motorized blackout curtains had very small gaps at the edge. The only real negative is their pool is only open Friday and Saturday; Sunday through Thursday you have to use Aria's - who wants to be outside for any second than they have to be in Vegas summer heat? But at least it is a non-smoking (they also pump some pleasant scent into the lobby), and non-gambling hotel , thus there is a very, very short distance to walk in the outside. We were out of our car, thru the lobby, and into our room in a few minutes. Again unmatched of any Strip hotel.

Absolutely the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Your health is at risk the moment you step inside. As part of the MGM Resorts group this "resort" boasts a “Seven-Point Safety Plan,... a comprehensive, multi-layered approach with guidance from public health experts". We planned a weekend away in Vegas to celebrate our wedding anniversary which was completely ruined thanks to the VDara. Upon arrival in our room we found a sticker-seal on the front door assuring us the room was clean and virus-free, sanitized for our health and safety! Inside, we found dust so thick you could write your name in it on every surface and weeks old mouldy food in the fridge and in the cabinet, demonstrating quite clearly this room had not been cleaned in weeks, and definitely not sanitized in line with their "Seven Point Safety Plan". How is it possible to sanitize a room without touching the surfaces nor opening the fridge?! On our way out we asked at Reception to have the grey, decomposing food removed and our fridge cleaned, so we could put our own items safely inside. Nobody came. When we returned at the end of the day, we called Housekeeping to have the food removed and the room cleaned. A woman came, couldn't speak a word of English and so called her Supervisor (Myra?). Myra gave us all the standard lip-service and assured us that if we called Housekeeping on our way out the next day she would have the room "deep cleaned". Nobody came. When we returned late the next day, we called the manager, Spencer, who again gave us all the same lip-service and assured us that if we called Housekeeping again on our way out the next day our room would be serviced and deep-cleaned. Nobody came. When we returned late the next day, we called and spoke with another Manager. He had nothing to say. He couldn’t even offer a cleaner. This hotel is desperately understaffed and should never have reopened and put its guests’ health at risk. The claims they make are misleading and deceptive, just out and out lies. The place is just not getting cleaned. In the end, we complained and begged every day for three days to have our room cleaned and for fresh towels. We had left the Housekeeping light on our door all day, every day while we were out. We finally managed to get fresh towels and our trash emptied on the last day of our stay when I was forced to threaten to cause a scene in the Reception to get clean towels. I certainly didn't expect to spend my anniversary weekend cleaning a hotel room with Lysol wipes! The elevators were also dirty with trash and spilled drink stains that stayed there for our entire stay! No service, no staff, no cleaning - this hotel should be closed down immediately, the management knows this place is beyond redemption - they have completely given up. We demanded, and were assured a full refund – I am sure there will be a battle over that but remain optimistic. And to top off our crappy long weekend, I needed to call my Uber driver so we sat down at the far end of the lobby, with nobody even remotely close to us, to make my call. An officious employee had the audacity to walk right across the lobby to reprimand me for lowering my mask to make a phone call! When we challenged him about their 7 Point Safety plan - he didn't have a clue what we were talking about and just shouted over me the entire time. This place is the pits – absolutely wrecked what was supposed to be a peaceful few days away for our wedding anniversary. We couldn’t wait to get out of this filthy hotel!! STAY SAFE - STAY AWAY!

My 4th time staying at this hotel sad to say probably my last..first off my bath towel had brown stains on it which was really gross considering they suppose to be so clean for covid which I will post a picture of this. Self parking is terrible you have to use a ramp to get up back to hotel entrance ..not for handicap that's for sure, the ramp has a huge step which you have to lift your luggage up. Pool is only open Friday-Sunday, coming during the week with a 113 degree weather was pointless And my daughter very disappointed

Stayed here as a group of 6 with age range from 25 to 50. Hotel is one without a casino which is definitely a different welcome Vegas experience. Rooms are suites with equipped kitchen bathrooms had both shower and bath. Hotel is midway on the strip and has option of walkway to belagio or monorail station at sister hotel then out to strip. We hired a car for 4 of us to do Grand Canyon which I can thoroughly recommend, we did a organised trip previously and enjoyed the freedom of the car. Vegas is a love it or hate it, we love it and would definitely stay at Vdara again for its chilled out vibe.
