Do not book this hotel or any “Marina El Cid” hotel via this website or algotels.com. They will confirm your hotel with the correct hotel name, then email you a confirmation under the sister hotel, then book you into the hotel across the street once you check in. Apparently their system can’t tell the difference between each of the three properties that are back to back. They only use 1 letter to differentiate from one property to another which will lead to massive head aches during your vacation. They did this to 3 of our 4 reservations. No manager, no help, only fix was to pay over $900 for them to fix their own errors. If you want your vacation all messed up and extremely stressful, book through this website or algotels.com

We are a millionaire members and choose the El Cid location near Puerto Morelos every single time …..the staff there is amazing especially our Butler‘s Luis and Noah who we reach out to before each arrival knowing that we are going to be well taken care of; they are very attentive and take excellent care of the whole family. We can’t wait for our next trip.

My family trip to this resort was amazing. We stayed a week and had a great time. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The food was great of course, and the pools were gorgeous and never felt too crowded. The service was excellent, especially by Cali M. and Samuel V. who assisted us during our entire stay. They were attentive, helpful, and genuinely friendly. I would definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a resort near Cancun.

Had such a great time at Ventus! Are Mendez and Manuel Diaz our butlers were amazing! The service was top notch! Can't wait to go back! Better food cannot be found in Riviera Maya! And the bar and waitstaff are amazing! Noe serves the best coffee in the Marina lobby bar, and Carlos Gonzales is an excellent waiter whether at the Albina bar in Ventus lobby or serving drinks at the adult pool! If you haven't been, you must go! The staff are like family!!
