This is a second time we decided to visit Ventus Ha. Big resort, good service, amazing food. Multiple choices and options to rest and relax including different swimming pools. Everything what you need for family.

Place is old and not luxury. 3 star at best. Booking restaurant is hard and we got 9:30 reservations 4 of 5 nights. Restaurants start packing up even before we got main dish. Beach is horrible full of seaweed. Also inefficient handling of hotel promo credit. Tried to use for dinner upgrade to lobster but made to feel like we were scamming them for free meal. We made arrangements thru concierge but they did not give us any coupon to hand restaurant and manager did not know how to handle. Hated my stay and this dinner just capped it off. Went with two college aged kids and they were bored entire trip. Sad ending as this will likely be last family trip. Everyone is all grown up and sharing time no longer fun for anyone but this bad resort made it worse.

Great resort. Food was amazing; staff was amazing; accommodations beautiful. Miguel Cab, manager at the French restaurant went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable! Diego and Nicola were excellent servers and made perfect recommendations. Definitely will come back to El Cid Ventus.

This past December my wife and I returned to El CID to get away and relax. It was awesome having no schedule and being able to enjoy amazing weather along with the resort pools, gym, couples massage, array of restaurants, and nightly entertainment. Our two butlers, Ricardo and Freddy, also added to our stay, being value added with things like booking our restaurants and cab to visit nearby Puerto Morelos. Ricardo also went above and beyond in making sure our anniversary was special. Looking forward to the opportunity of returning to El Cid!

Another great vacation at El Cid Ventus. Weather was perfect allowing kayaking and spending time in the pool. There was enough wind to go out on the sailboat with Julio. Butlers Sebastian and Ricardo were very attentive to all our needs. Food was excellent and meseros were very friendly and gave excellent Service especially Ernesto end Marco at breakfasts. Looking forward to our next visit in June.
