    horrible pressure

    first of all we were told we can get a gift card worth 200 if we go to a timeshare tour. it would only be a 45 min around the resort in a golf cart. sinc we had 2 kids we though it would be okay. NOT. IT WAS A WALK TO DIFFERENT units [which were beautiful]. but mostly for owners. the waterpark and bar and snack bar near the pool closed at 5.00 which only gave us an hour by the time we got there. the room which was supposed to be a suite was very small. small room with the pullout , table and 2 chairs wardrobe, and stove sink and refrig. come on, this was not supposed to be what we got, but by the time they got back to us, it was time to leave. also the breakfast we were upposed to get for the tour was only juice fruit and cookies. terrible. we did not do the tour. so naturally we didnt get the gift card. terrible pressure. stay away from this place.

    The staff here is a joke and ultimately its management's fault. We were here last week with 3 other families who all had the same experience. 2 of them showed up for their scheduled time share pitch only to be sent away because the salesman did not show up for work. Twice in the same week this happend. How do you sell these units if your staff doesn't come to work? The restaurant's, the bar, the grocery store, and even the pool open and closed Whenever they felt like it. None of them followed a schedule. No one answered the phone for carry out and if you visited their business you would find it wasn't because they were busy but rather because they were understaffed and lazy. There were a few employees at the bar who really tried but I would say that 90% of the staff did not want to be there. None of them moved with any sense of urgency to help the customer and on this scale, it's a management issue. They have created a culture where it's ok to be less than mediocre. I personally learned my lesson on day one and went off site for food every day thereafter. I can't imagine how much money they are losing simply because they do not answer their phones! It's really sad too because the place is really nice otherwise. There's a ton of stuff for kids to do and the waterpark is a lot of fun! The rooms were very clean and you get exactly what you pay for if you pay attention to what you're booking. Just don't consider asking the staff for a single thing!

    Yeaaa thanks but no thanks $77 is too expensive for this hotel the only thing good about this resort is the front desk when your checking out I will never waste my money on any west gate resort this place is a joke

    DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Rooms are dirty. I couldn’t get sheets for the pull out queen for a day and half. This meant the four of us had to sleep in one bed. Their restaurant list our delivery order. Or sink would drain and my husband had to fix it. If you buy a water park ticket and the it is at capacity, you can’t go in. Even if you have a valid ticket and are staying the resort. I get that it’s a cheaper place to stay but basic necessities are not met.

    We booked Saturday to Saturday but came in on Tuesday waited for a room. Then ask for a ground floor we get a sixth floor. Instead of moving out of the room in 3 days to a bigger room cause my daughter is coming they saidno. But I see renters get upgraded. We own here for over 30 years. This morning our bathroom is backed up they didn't answer their phone till 9 am. This is horrible. Take a shower no wash clothes. Totally not like it use to be. So the room we were suppose to have Saturday to Saturday the rented 3 days to someone else and mad us pay an exchange fee cause our week is in August. So someone paid for 3 days and we paid for the week. Front desk people very rude.
