It could have gone so much better if the staff actually cared or had better training

Renovations are a part of every hotel. However staff rudeness and lack of basic manners are not an excuse, renovating or not. We arrived there and were given a choice of a room near the pool where neighbouring rooms were being renovated or a room at the back near the golf course. We value quiet, so we took the room at the back. Well, there was no quiet as the rooms on either side of us were being renovated and the workers were blasting Mexican music for good measure. When we brought this up at the front desk, we were informed that there were no renovations going on. Really? Tearing out carpets, putting furniture outside and placing a big tool box in front of our door is part of cleaning? It get's better. Frank the Houseman, does not knock and, barges into our room. Somebody could have been changing or whatever. He informs us that he was told there was nobody in our room?? My bill says otherwise. So if you do stay here, use the dead bolt. The mattress was very bad and the blackout drapes were torn. We got a call to our room prior to our stay ending asking how our stay was. The person who called did not want to hear about it and hung up on us. Really? The response from Candi Hernandez, the Assistant GM was that she hopes she can show us the new renovated rooms if we come again. For an assistant GM to be that clueless; it explains why the overall operation is poorly run and why the staff are poorly trained.

Stayed 7 nights and we wanted a hotel we could relax a few days and also explore some of the area, this worked out perfect. King Suite with full Kitchen and a balcony overlooking the Golf Course. Showers always had plenty of hot water. Spent one day relaxing at the pool, which had towels and very comfortable chairs that laid back. Highlights were the evening sunsets , evening social on Monday - Wed. Brianna was a great host and even poured me a beer. It was nice for a member of management ( Jenny)to stop by at the evening social and ask about our stay. The smoking area is next to the outside patio and you have to walk through it to get to the laundry, pool etc. is a contradiction to the hotels website claiming all public areas are smoke free, you can see cig. butts littered outside the units, keep me from giving the hotel 5 stars. Breakfast was good but would like to see a little more variety, a potato or 2? Overall a great place to stay

    Amazing!

Have stayed at so many hotels across the country and this is by far one of the best. I like to point out everything a hotel has to offer, good or bad, so the next traveler coming through knows what to expect. Any negatives I found here, I cant hold the hotel responsible. Great rooms with kitchen, living room area, table, outside balcony, comfy bed, and bathroom with nice shower. Pool is relaxing with laundry facility near as well as game room to occupy you while you wait. Free breakfast each morning, but wish they would change it up a little. The scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon variety got a little bland after awhile. However, the evening socials provided wide types of delicious foods along with beer and wines. Brianna made most of the dishes and was the most gracious host. Jennie, the sales mgr, even checked on us and shared stories of home as she made sure we were well taken care of. Spent 7 nights here and it flew by! My only complaint was smoking section was right where we walked to breakfast and evening social, however, we never saw anyone using the area. We did see several disguarded cigarette butts outside our balcony, but beware, you give the smoker an inch they will take a mile. Still not enough to ruin what was a great week in Palm Springs!

I have stayed here many times. It's a really nice hotel. Rooms are large. Some looked over the golf course. Staff is always very nice and helpful. Wish Marriott would invest in some more modern coffee pots.

A great, spacious hotel. Huge rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Well equipped laundry. Lots of parking. A really excellent home away from home. Like almost all Residence Inns the kitchen is fully equipped including full size fridge.
