Enjoyed our visit, could be better!

Royal Kona We stayed from Apr 24-27 Check in was smooth. Room was decent, clean. However the whole hotel could use some renovation, the furniture and room etc looked pretty outdated. Views were very nice. We booked a king size bed and were told on check in that bed size is not guaranteed, so we got two full beds. We received two drink tickets on check in which was very nice. The resort fee and parking fee is extra. Overall service was nice, and location is very convenient if you want to spend time in Kona. Very close to the market, restaurants, beaches, and coffee plantations etc. Their bar and restaurant have lovely views. We loved the food. The drinks were also good. We also attended their Luau. This was our first Luau ever and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We enjoyed our stay, would come back if renovated and no other options, but for the ambience we thought that price was too high.
Aloha vibes are real!

The most serene sleep I've had in a long time, had an amazingly comfortable bed and with the sound of the waves crashing in the background, it makes for a perfect sleep. Beautiful hotel and perfect location for walks to shops and restaurants in the center of Kona. Renovations in Lagoon tower do not cause any disturbance to guests and all hotel employees are kind and friendly. The actual lagoon which is accessible to all guests could use some love, but other than that this is a perfect lodging option for anyone who wants to get a feel for the real Aloha vibes this beautiful island has to offer! Would stay here again and would highly recommend it! Mahalo Royal Kona Resort! ??
