    Our Base Hotel for all the attractions

    The room was spacious, very clean. We were on the 10th floor water pressure was good. Very helpful staff. On site is a restaurant, outside pool, laundry, shop, games room, lounge area. Would definitely return and recommend this hotel to friends and family.

    I booked a trip for my family so that we can go to universal that week and we were greeted by such a wonderful girl. Ariel at the desk was extremely helpful and provided us with excellent service! Thank you!

    Selected this hotel roughly around the free parking. Have status at both Hilton and IHG and originally was selecting the DoubleTree next door but they charged for parking so figured I'd give this location a chance. The free parking and location are great benefits of this property for Universal Orlando visits. The building just seems dated/old to me. The 10th floor smelled. The room smelled. The room was large (King room). Had the refrigerator which was helpful. Front Desk Guest Service lacked. Concerns after check-in - we were directed to speak to the morning front desk staff and just brushed us off. Had a similar check-out experience - just confirmed we paid and let go. It's a great location no doubt but you get what you pay for.

    We evacuated to this hotel during hurricane Dorian and chose it because it is pet-friendly. They were kindly waiving the pet deposit at the time. There were A LOT of pets on property at the time but the hotel lobby, hallways and room smelled very nice and everything was very clean. We got a suite to have extra room for our pets and the room was very good value at $99 per night on Expedia. The pool looked nice but it wasn't swimming/sunning time due to the weather. What I didn't like was a lack of amenities. There is no restaurant, bar or coffee shop on site. The hotel's restaurant for breakfast is the (TGI) Friday's next door - and it was closed the day we arrive because of the hurricane. The gift shop sells coffee for over $3 a cup. The woman at guest services couldn't tell me where to get coffee and told me to talk to the front desk. The rooms have Keurig coffee-makers, which I absolutely despise. There is plenty of room on the property to add a bar. They could start with the Food & Beverage Director's office. (Why they have a food & beverage director and office for that person when they don't have food or beverage, I don't understand.) At the very least, the hotel could offer complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning.

    From the moment my family and I stepped into this Inn we were treated well. The staff-Francis,Doris,Martin on the front desk superb! Naoimi and the dinning staff could not do enough for us and the other guests. Our rooms were clean and well attended to each day! We were all fleeing the wrath of Dorian and each staff member including the general manager and the manager who welcomed our power restorers from Missouri were friendly,kind and supportive. Doris reassured us we would all be just fine! Thank you all! We know where we are going our next hurricane! Nina
