    Nice property, we enjoyed our stay

    We enjoyed our stay here. It may not be as “chic” as some other Oceanside properties but it has an authentic Mexican vibe to it. The rooms were spacious and the property is nice. I do wish they had some more vegan and gluten free options on the menu, but otherwise we still ate in property several times. The staff were all great too. As others note, there is no direct beach access here so be aware of that. The pool is nice.

    We came on February 11th, 2021 to celebrate my friends upcoming nuptials. We were excited about our trip. However, we were immediately disappointed by the condition of the property. Upon arrival, there was no one at the front to greet us or help us with our luggage. Upon entering our room, we noticed a foul smell. This smell lasted the entire time we were there, making us sick to our stomachs. Our room was not at all properly cleaned. There were no washcloths in the bathroom, for us to bathe with. Our beds were not comfortable and none of us got a full nights rest. At the restaurant the food was subpar and the drinks were made with house liquor. Lastly, we paid an extra fee for a third person but that person couldn’t even access the WiFi. What is the point of her paying if she will not be awarded the full amenities that every other paying guest receives? After one night of subpar conditions we left, as we did not feel the hotel was clean nor a place we would be able to properly enjoy and relax.

    Their service is disgusting !!! They are lying !!! Scammers !!! Do not come here !! They lie and steal money! Do not give service! There are gokim in the food! Everything smells disgusting! They stole money from our credit! Do not come near! We took a bike and were told it was free and then charged us $ 10 !!!

    This is the third time staying at this resort. We like the location, the room size, quiet mentality, and amenities. The only downfall is not being able to dip in the ocean to cool off in the hot Mexico sun. Everything else is amazing. The dinner menu changes nightly for different themes (oriental, sushi, Italian, steakhouse, Mexican). You can order as much as you want and have never gone hungry. Because of covid, everything is made to order which definitely gives it a more luxurious feel over buffet. Breakfast is a typical lineup with a juice menu as well. Lunch and snack menu have a wide array of options. The staff is very attentive. Noemi, Jorge, and Lucia kept the drinks flowing all day around the pool. Carina is the sweetest lady to talk to and made delish crepes nightly (except Tuesdays). We made sure to leave room after dinner to enjoy some mango and cream cheese crepes and good conversation. David was very personable at dinner and made us feel welcomed. Filameno was a great server and had the best laugh!! Jesus at the nightly bar was always great to talk to. Price is great to stay nearby the ruins, town, and southern expensive hotel strip. We will always come back!

    Three months for a refund!

    I booked several rooms but had to cancel. I waited and had not received a refund so I messaged them inquiring how long it would take. I received an email back and they said that they have a long list and it could take 3 months for a refund. I emailed them back and told them that was unacceptable and they have yet to respond. If refunds are going to take 3 months there should be a disclaimer as this is not the norm for a refund. 7-10 business days at most 21 days even but 3 months is ridiculous. Don't offer a free cancellation policy if you are going to keep the money for that long.
