I stay in a Tennis Villa. Not shocking that I love the courts - and the tennis director, Kevin, is awesome! The whole operation is first class. A throwback to the days of a true tennis resort. Heaven!!

Outstanding sprawling property with 40+ pools. Great views of the mountains from almost anywhere on the resort and just walking around the property is fun (and could take 2-3 hours). Great restaurants, but the breakfast buffet was a bit over the top at $35 PP (before tax and tip). We don't need that much food (or to spend that much) for breakfast. As a Hilton Diamond member, they provided a $15 credit each for breakfast, but breakfast for two still cost us $50. Try the "local store", where you can get things quickly for a lot less and the credit still applies. And the golf is awesome. Two courses, one good (Valley?), the other, Mountain course is great and there are many courses nearby. In summary, a must-see and visit kind of place that might take you back to another era.

Beautiful grounds but the rooms are showing a bit of wear. I was traveling with 3 other girlfriends and had adjoining rooms. One of the rooms we were first put in had been doused in air freshener. Myself and one friend got into our room and it was fine, when we went to the others room it was seriously uncomfortable. We opened the windows and the doors, but it was so strong. It took a while, but we were able to move rooms so it wasn't that big of deal. I was super excited to take part in their Apres Swim, but it was a bit of a let down. We also did a zumba class, which was hysterical. Overall, a pleasant stay.

I'm a tennis coach and I brought a group of VIP students to the resort and it was amazing. Not only did Kevin Connolly in his entire staff treat us like royalty, but the grounds of the resort are stunningly beautiful. If you're a tennis player and haven't checked out this spot yet, you need to put it on your bucket list. I will definitely be bringing my group back again next year.

If you're a tennis player this is the place to be!

I work in the tennis industry creating instructional videos for club players. We try to schedule our big shoots (with Martina Navratilova and the Bryan Bros) in March during the BNP Paribas Open so we can shoot on La Quinta's stadium court. It's beautiful. And the staff, led by Kevin Connolly, rocks. If you're looking for a great place to hit some balls and then relax by the pool or at the spa, well, this is the place for you!
