Great beach in the sun

Great beach and pool. Always could find chairs on the beach with shade and usually pool chairs with shade. Spanish, of course, is very heavily used but never a problem to find english speaking staff. Food was as plentiful as one wanted and generally great both in the buffet and 2 specialty restaurants. I was disappointed not to find more "gringo" Mexican food such as enchiladas, Tacos and the like. Perhaps I just didn't know how to gather the items at the buffet. Room was fine except figuring out how to use the TV and finding something to watch other than CNN and Fox news! The Negative: Our room was a balcony facing the pool. The very, very loud thumping music during the day around the pool and evening disco until 2am was not a nice surprise to our vacation. A word to Samba and guests: make sure you bring some quality ear plugs (or request a room on the away side of the complex?) All in all, I recommend Samba Vallarta as good place to vacation.

Stayed for a couple of weeks in April. I have been coming to the PV area for 20 years staying at many resorts along the bay. This was my first time at Samba and the price point set my expectation and I was pleasantly surprised. This is a smaller, authentic resort in an awesome location if you love the beach. The buffet food was excellent and the drinks were delicious. The beds and pillows are comfortable, the amenities, grounds and pool were clean. What makes this resort shine are the employees ~ happy to help with a smile. Many thanks to Gilberto, Salvador, Carlos (Pinky), Alex and Lecenia who were all top notch servers. Norma is a treasure who was always cleaning with a smile and room cleaner Alma who was excellent. A special thank you to concierge Bernardo who was professional, attentive and a great resource and especially helpful during a medical emergency. If you want an economical AI that is clean, comfortable, prime beach location with excellent food and drinks and exceptional employees then this is the place for you. It’s a hidden gem in Nuevo.
