In the last few days of our family trip here and so far everything has been wonderful, a minor issue with our rooms at the beginning but they fixed promptly and made sure our trip wasn’t affected. Food has plenty of choice for everyone and the a la cartes are amazing and wherever you are you aren’t far from a snack or drinks which are also great, so much variety The staff have been amazing, always cheerful, smiling and go over and above to help no matter what it is. Entertainment team are great and try getting people involved but don’t go around bothering people who may not wanna join in as I’ve experienced before at other resorts. Special shout out to Jair from entertainment, so happy and friendly making the pool games fun and inviting, Mario as well was always a laugh out in the pool. Claudia in the colonial buffet was such a delight and Santos in the colonial swim up bar was my go to for my cocktails and drinks! Maya mall and Jaguars club are awesome additions there really is everything for someone no matter when.
Far away from 5 star, maybe 3 or 4

You can summarize this place as, bad installations (restrooms are super dirty always), regular food and bad service. I asked for Tropical hotel, when I arrived i found out they moved me to Beach hotel. I asked for connected rooms, they didn’t have them ready until a day after. They did moved me, as a “favor” and until next day. They wanted me to charge me extra to “open the doors” (I guess you can imagine the kind of place this is). Some of the people are making their best effort to do a good job, but the culture here is not about service. I don’t think this place should be a 5-start resort, but I guess having your own arena or dolphinarium took it there, not necessarily service. I am still here for the rest of the week (already pay for it, so we would try to enjoy anyways) but would not recommend it
