At check-in you're asked to have your temp taken (no touch). Masks are required in all public spaces. Rooms have been modified to remove community use items like coffee maker, mini-bar etc. They also have a little pack of masks, gloves, & wipes to welcome you. I honestly was dreading spending the night in a hotel during this Covid mess but their measures put me at ease. I did not use the casino but did order & pick up from one of their restaurants. Everyone I saw was wearing a mask. staff & guests alike. Hand sanitizer stations everywhere.

The text line for questions came in handy! So clean and beautiful. Staff was very helpful. Uno mas was absolutely delicious. There were some hooligans smoking weed on our floor but the staff the hotel and the extras like the pool and the text line really made our stay fantastic.

I enjoyed my stay! The staff is friendly, nice, and helpful! Next time I come to Vegas I will be staying here again! Thank you! The only thing that was wrong with the room is that it could have been more clean but other than that it was a great stay!

I thought based on the reviews that this would be a cool place to stay. We had been traveling on a road trip for a week and decided to break up our drive back home by staying overnight in Vegas. I had never stayed at the Sahara before but had heard of it. I understand due to COVID there are a lot of different measures in place to ensure safety of guests, however, I was shocked to see how many people were staying at this hotel during our one night there. The line for the elevator was extremely long due to the limit of four people at a time in an elevator (which wasn't followed by some guests). I will say the room was comfortable, however, they removed every amenity, again, due to COVID. When we called for cups and an ice bucket, it took almost an hour to receive and they forgot to bring the ice bucket the first time around. We decided to stay in our room the rest of the night instead of exploring due to the amount of people and long wait times for the elevator. Upon our departure, we waited 20 minutes to catch an elevator to check out, and being that we were on the 19th floor, every single elevator that opened had 4 or more people in it, so we had no choice but to carry our suitcases and bags down 19 floors in the stairwell. It is the middle of summer might I add, so it was very hot. The other guests waiting with us had to do the same. When we got down finally to check out, the line was so long I couldn't even speak to someone to discuss my stay. I had called the night before as I noticed a promotion on Facebook and Instagram of no resort fees through the end of August. I was charged resort fees upon my check in, so I called the front desk while we were in our room and they said they would honor the promotion and refund my card upon check out. Since I couldn't speak to anyone there, I called them once I got home and the person I spoke with said they actually would not honor it because I didn't book directly through their website. The person I spoke with previously mentioned that, but was going to honor it anyways. The resort fees are $43 - if this company wanted to maintain a good reputation they would honor it for the guest no questions asked. The gentleman I spoke with refused to do so and gave me many reasons as to why they would not. In the end, I would not recommend staying here. The management is poor, customer service needs help and they are in the business to make money, not care about their guests. The elevator lines should not be that long, they should not be selling that many rooms during this time so that could be better managed, but its apparent they aren't concerned. I am disappointed and regretful that we stayed here and will not be returning for any future trips.

Stopped by a few weeks ago mainly to check out the newly opened poker room, which I didn't get a chance to visit before the Covid shutdown. This was also my first time checking the Sahara since it was rebranded. Wowzers! Did a quick walk through of the lobby and casino floor and everything was beautiful. They did a great job. Headed to the poker room and after being greeted by the staff got seated in a 1-2 no limit game. The chairs were amazingly comfortable, and the whole room looked awesome. The dealers were super friendly and did a great job keeping the game moving and controlling the action. One weird thing was they had them all wearing bow ties which just seemed a little too formal and out of date for me. This seemed like a casual, friendly room but the bow ties on the dealers seemed out of place. Player next to me remarked the same thing. Played for about 2 hours, made a bit of money, and had a great experience overall. Pros (for poker room) -Most comfortable chairs in Vegas -Massive video wall for viewing multiple sporting events at once -Friedly, professional staff Cons -Would like to see a daily tournament offered -Get rid of the bow ties -More promo's would be great Looking forward to checking out the main casino pit on my next visit, as well as the Northside Cafe.
