Great, safe, comfortable way to do Cabo. The property is beautiful. The people make the place! The slow pace allows you to relax. Many rooms are showing some ware. Room renovations are currently underway.

Hacienda Del Mar is the best resort for service, entertainment and food. I’ve been coming Here for 16 years and I prefer this resort over a super modern place. It is quaint and the service is of the best quality.

The time share sales people started my first impression very poorly. They are over the top aggressive and make us feel uncomfortable. They even tracked my wife down while laying out on the beach while I was fishing asking her about a tour. I would not return due to this uncomfortable and unprofessional behavior. The tomatoes buffet was very disorganized and slow. Beach service was great one day and slow the next. Cleaning staff was very good! Bellhops very helpful! The gentleman at the spa doesnt speak very good english. We had a hard time with reservations. We were not told about the cook out roasting the pig with music. Wish someone would have told us about that and we would not have left property for dinner. Hope this helps.
Nice stay!

We spent a week at Hacienda Del Mar. We exchanged through RCI and were placed in bldg 14 on the 1st floor. While that might not be suitable to some (there are definitely rooms with better views there), we enjoyed our room and our kids liked the “backyard” that our patio opened out to. The building was one of the un-renovated ones and towards the back of the resort. The suite seemed to have been vacant for a while before our stay as there was quite a bit of dust on the floor our first day, but house keeping comes everyday and the room was cleaned very nicely from that point on. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. Mask-wearing was mostly enforced which we appreciated. Staff was great, particularly Food service/wait staff. Fernando took care of us nearly everyday and was super nice and attentive. The beach was beautiful but not swimmable. There are plenty of pools even with one pool area being closed. My one knock would be that food options did feel a bit limited. If you don’t want to eat in the fancy (read: expensive) restaurants for dinner, options were limited to Tomates (not a lot our kids would eat and they aren’t too picky), Taco/tequila bar (which we did not prefer) or room service. There are also no other places to eat nearby that won’t require a cab ride. We ended up ordering Take out from Sirenas most nights before they closed (kitchen usually closed by 5:30) and eating in our room.
Spring Break great time!

We had a great time. The staff was super helpful and my dad being elderly was well taken care of despite him being unable to walk. They were friendly and ready to help. Adelina at breakfast is super nice and helped us with brunch. Overall, I only wished there were more vegetarian food options and more variety of cuisine. The setting, landscape and access is well thought out. They also had a golf cart available to help my dad get around due to his disability.
