Every staff member encountered here was top notch. I had an immediate issues at check in, being given a room that was mistakenly marked as cleaned. Arrived to the room to a housekeeping cart in front of the door. Staff quickly assigned me another room and brought me new keys and escorted me there. Always greeted when moving about the property. Food options were good. Upon check out is where the couple issues came up. After a few days a couple of charges ($40 and $44.84) that weren’t on the final folio settled on my card. I called to inquire and was told the $40 was from the business center. Fine. I did have packages shipped for a conference. But never authorized a charge to my room, nor did I have to receive or return the packages to the business center. The second charge was for 2 waters and 2 Stellas from the mini bar. I did drink the waters that were out on the counter, but there was no tag or menu outlining the charge. I did not have the two Stellas, and didn’t even open the mini fridge during my stay. When I let the associate know this they directed me to someone to dispute the charge. Left a voicemail for a Greg or Craig 10 days ago with no return call. Four days ago called again and discussed the situation and was yet again directed to the same person. Left a voicemail that was yet to be returned. Small amount of money at hand here, but very unfortunate that a resort of his caliber seems unconcerned with incorrect guest charges.

We chose this resort because of the many restaurants and we didn’t plan on leaving the resort. Upon checking in, we were told that the restaurants were booked and we could not eat at them for our first 4 nights. We then had to order food to be delivered from an Uber. We took the food and sat at an outdoor bar and were rudely told to get up and leave. I said, but we paid to be at this resort, the manager told us it didn’t matter and we need to leave the bar since we brought our own food. I ended up talking to another manager the next day who I think just thought I was trying to get something free. Basically said, when you finally do get into one of our restaurants we will make sure your taken care of. Very disappointing for a place that costs $400-$800 a night. They “took” care of us by giving us $12 dollar dessert.

    A+ from beginning to end.

Just back from a Family vacation to Arizona. The Fairmont exceeded all of our hopes. The Concierge Raymond was exceptional. He helped guide a wonderful family vacation for a bunch of first timers to Arizona. The property is immaculate, and the restaurants wonderful. My family and I hope to return soon. Thank you

The stay was pleasant but the Hotel flaws that need fixing 1. Wanted to do Easter at the hotel. Tried to book this for 3 weeks. No one could ever say that it was hosting anything. Finally on Friday, they said it was all booked for 3 weeks. Very Disappointing 2. Food is an issue. The Mexican Restaurant will not allow take out orders until after 8 pm. I have 4 young kids and we need to eat early. Impossible to do at this Restaurant unless u do the same old Room Service. 3. Rooms are cleaned every 4 days. This is probably something to tell clients prior to booking. We have traveled alot in our lifetime. Been SPG Gold/Platinum members for years. I expected more from the Fairmont but they fell short. These are items that I believed needed to be worked on, so I called and left a message for the Manager to call me. I figured that they wanted to hear about this. Guess what, they never called me. So here it is in writing.

We had the opportunity to stay 10 days at the Scottsdale Princess for the second time with our family. Overall we had a lovely experience! The property is absolutely beautiful with lots of flowers and has an inviting ambiance. The golf course was pristine. The employees are superb, very friendly and accommodating. Our two year old daughter, 9 year old son and 11 year old daughter really enjoyed all of the pools. Here are the negatives: There are currently only two breakfast restaurants open and one is offsite. You have to stand in a very long line to order your food which was very difficult for my 82 year old father-in-law that was with us. Our food took over an hour to arrive and no one checked on us to see if we could use additional coffee or water. The towels at the pools were consistently filthy and stained. Nobody is wiping down the lounge chairs or tables at the pool. They were filthy. It is very difficult to get restaurant reservations and they charge you an 18% service fee despite the fact you have to pickup your takeout. I was served raw chicken at lunch one day at Ironwood. The fridge in our room broke and we lost all of the items I had stocked up on at Target for my kiddos. We were told someone would compensate us for our loss but no one ever followed up. Despite these issues which I attribute to COVID related staffing issues, I felt everyone is really doing the best to provide guests with an exceptional experience! The Bell Desk even took our kiddos on multiple golf cart rides! I would still highly recommend this property! Overall, we had a wonderful getaway even despite the issues we incurred which are not typical of a Fairmont property.
