Over Rated!

Traci F on May 02, 2024

We are at the Aria now and we won’t be back. It’s dates for sure but also just not clean, the dirt on the carpet between walls and bed and night stand is gross. The amount of dust everywhere is crazy. Upon entry there was dirty Kleenex and paper in the floor that we picked up. After cleaning the room today they took roll of toilet paper off roll and never replaced it but luckily there was one here for us. We have always stayed at Bellagio and will definitely go back there after this.

Absolutely disgusting

Cathleen H on May 01, 2024

See photos. Upon checking in, found the following: 1) Massive pile of hair on top of the drain in the shower (not mine - I’m blonde) 2) Faucets were covered with some sort residue that was green and crusty 3) Wooden shelf under the sink where the towels were sitting had a splatter of something white (I don’t even want to think about what it may have been, but by the picture you can’t rule out the possibility it’s semen) Called front desk and housekeeping 3 times over 2 days and above items were not cleaned. By the 3rd night, drain was finally cleaned but I changed my flight to the red eye so I didn’t have to stay another night. The front desk said the best they could offer was to waive the resort fee ($30 / day) or a $100 food credit. I was there for work so my company paid for my room and clients hosted dinner so their offers did zero to compensate me personally for having to stay in such a filthy room. It was disgusting and I’ll never go back.

Fake Luxury

Joe H on May 01, 2024

The Aria does not hold up against the Wynn or Bellagio for a luxury experience. Upon check-in there was a 45 minute wait and not a single friendly greeting. The staff would continue the aloof and rude attitudes for the next 5 days. My wife was rudely kicked out of the lobby bar area as I was on the casino using the ATM so I could spend cash. The room was not clean as it had a used napkin on the floor next to the chair. However, the restaurants were outstanding. Perhaps the staff could take a cue from the customer service provided at the restaurants. If you can get in under 150 then it's worth it but it's not worth the luxury pricing currently charged.

A Great First Stay at Aria

PenAmGra (Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom) on Apr 30, 2024

We stayed in the Aria in April '24 for 5 nights, and having read the reviews prior to going I was slightly apprehensive about the quality of service and room that we would experience. This was the first time we had visited Las Vegas. At check in, we were allocated a room with a strip-view and located on the 26th floor because it was my husband's 50th birthday during our holiday. They also gave us a $50 credit towards food/drink. Given we aren't MGM members nor stayed at any MGM hotel before, this was a nice touch. The room was great with a very comfy bed, great views and it was very clean with very little signs of wear and tear. The air con and the tablet to control the drapes/lights etc worked fine. Given the experiences of some reviewers I was concerned about the cleanliness and room quality. Yes, the mini-bar was expensive and no coffee making facilities but we were expecting this. One day we went on an early morning tour so we were out of the room at 6am and returned at 11.30am and the room hadn't been serviced. We had a nap and set out again at 2.30pm and we noticed that the room cleaning had just passed our room. We popped on the service light but upon our return the room hadn't been refreshed. We assume that once your 'slot' has been missed then they won't revisit which may happen in other hotel. No hassle though as the next day we asked that they make sure that the room is serviced which they did without issue. Location-wise, the Aria is centrally placed on the strip and the free shuttle to Bellagio saves the legs. It has some really nice restaurants within it as well as quick-service places and 2 Starbucks, plus lots of choices in the hotels and malls around and about. Overall, we really liked the Aria and had a positive experience there. We don't have a comparison with any other Las Vegas hotel, but we enjoyed it's ambiance/vibe and we would have no hesitation to stay there again.
