    Two day trip to Universal Parks.

    Hotel was great from check in to check out. Also the added benefits associated with staying here made it a great deal. Boat ride to parks, fast pass for two days and a really nice pool with food and drinks served poolside after a brutally hot day at the park. Rooms very clean and spacious. Will definitely stay here again.

    I cancled my trip a month ago and still no refund. They told me 4-6 weeks. I just looked again at my old reservation and noticed a refund button. Not cool. Now another 2-3 weeks. They took my money with in a few minutes and it takes this long to be refunded not cool..... I wonder if they were going to keep it all together. People are out of work and this is how you repay familys. Not sure if I will ever want to come back. Not honest...... ??????????????

    Beautiful and relaxing, am I in Italy? The Portofino hotel is my absolute favorite on-site hotel. Here's why: -Theme: The theme of the hotel is spectacular. The model of the portofino is a 1 by 1 replica of the actual Portofino, Italy. When you first walk into the hotel it has a beautiful mural on of the ceiling of the lobby. This may be weird also but it has a better smell than other hotels. -Rooms: The rooms are always clean and nicely decorated. The beds are very comfortable. -Less Kids: I don't typically see a lot of kids in this hotel, which is nice for when my boyfriend and I want a relaxing trip together. -Shops: They have wonderful shops out and around the bay. My favorite lunch spot is Sal's and there is nothing like going to Mama Delia's for dinner. They have men singing and playing music as you eat. The price for the hotel is high compared to other hotels on-site, but you truly get what you pay for here. The staff is wonderful and we always have a great time at the Portofino.

    We had hoped to take a Caribbean cruise for my son's 18th birthday and high school graduation. When it was clear that wasn't an option, we booked Portofino Bay as a back-up vacation...one booking in May and one in August, hedging our bets. We got an email stating that the parks and hotels would be closed through the end of May and that we were being issued a full, immediate refund without any action on our part. So much easier than the 2+ months we waited for a refund on our cruise (finally had to escalate to credit card company to get our money back). The hotels and parks are now open for business, but my 18 year just had surgery and didn't feel wearing a mask in the park in August's heat was the best choice for him. I called Loews and had no trouble canceling and got a refund within 10 days. We were at Portofino last summer after the loss of my MIL. The staff went above and beyond to make my son's birthday special. It was just what he needed...a little happy distraction. We'll definitely return in the future. Thanks for making refunds easy in a pandemic.

    I called in early April because the remainder of my payment was due. A nice lady convinced me to pay & assured me that I could get a full refund if the parks, hotels, etc.. remained closed. I called over a MONTH ago & still no refund!! I have called three times now. Still nothing! I will definitely consider a Disney hotel the next time. My neighbor received a refund on a a Disney hotel within 48 hours of calling. There is no excuse for this!
