My husband and I went to Barcelo for our honeymoon in February 2021. The weather, resort, and staff were all incredible! The beach and pool were beautiful. The trip was an absolutely wonderful experience!

Joyce, Sylvester, and Rondell were amazing with great customer service. The dinner was outstanding and we can not be happier! I ordered the Grilled Lamb Chops and my husband ordered the grilled grouper. I have been very satisfied with the hotel as a whole.

Food was amazing. Staff was wonderful. Weather was beautiful. The staff at the breakfast buffet was so sweet and accommodating. The staff at the restaurants were efficient and helpful. The front desk staff and reception staff helped us make the best of our trip. The bar, beach, and pool staff went above and beyond to make our days enjoyable. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday trip.

This was my first trip to Aruba and I will definitely be back! The hotel was amazing. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good and the drinks were always great. The activities provided at the resort were fun and there was always plenty of options.

Love love Barcelo!! Royal Level is a must...even during covid times. Champagne check in ?. Excellent service!! Thank You for making my 50th extra special ??. I was surprised with delicious chocolate covered strawberries and champagne on my birthday. I met the ever famous Veronica and Sandra on the 9th floor during check in--Thank You both for helping coordinate everything from dining reservations to booking the covid test for our return to the US. Very clean and sanitized (I am a nurse and a germ-a-phobic----so I notice). Hand sanitizer everywhere- Thank You!! Food was good....Hibatchi is a must do (chop chop fun fun!!). Mexican resturant was our fav!! We ate bfast and lunch at the buffet--easy and quick which worked well for us. Italian resturant was ok--food was more american than Italian. Seafood resturant was ok-- would love to have had more seafood options on the menu. The beach....HEAVEN. Easy to find a grass hut to enjoy some shade---no need to get up when the rooster crows to save one. Pool bar and Royal beach bar both had good drinks. Was disappointed that there were only 1 waitress/waiter serving drinks on the beach---and most days didnt have anyone. A walk to the bar did us good...but when you pay for all inclusive and royal level I was hoping for some of that special service. My biggest Con: The beach music......or lack there of. Lionel Richie is not beach music. Maybe 1 song of his is ok.....but not an hour long Lionel show.....snoooooze. I requested some 'upbeat' beach music and was told " we only have cd". Mixing up the music would prob make guests happier. Others requested more upbeat music as well. Even the music played during Zumba on the beach was better. Would def stay at Barcelo again!! Wont let boring beach music keep me away. Just hope Barcelo takes into consideration our reviews. Aruba is The Best ??. Barcelo...we WILL be back ?
