    From the moment we arrived it was clear that the staff wanted us to feel welcome and catered to. There were chairs available at the beach as well as by the pool. Food was good at the restaurants, spa was very nice. Room was excellent with very cool air.

    Room: When we first arrived, the butlers and receptionists helped us check in quickly. We booked the lowest level room but got an amazing room on the third floor that showcased the vaulted ceilings in a magnificent way. It made us not miss having an ocean view, which is what we normally book. Food: The food options were extremely limited. We have stayed at several Secrets and expected a variety of island fruits, but that wasn't an option. We were dissatisfied with the food enough to pay for a trip over to Secrets. Maybe in the future they will have better fresh vegetarians options. Beach: The beach is still and but you can swim. Seaweed was an issue but our man, Winston, did an excellent job of preparing the beach in the morning for us to enjoy the beautiful view. It isn't the best beach we've seen but it also isn't the worst from the Amstar Resorts. Staff: The folks at this resort are different from other places we've stayed. They are friendly and personable. We didn't feel like we were being waited on, but instead felt like we were among friends the whole time. It is hard to describe but it was the first resort where people didn't seem "fake" when interacting with the patrons. We appreciated the non-business feel (even though everyone was professional too) from staff members and loved getting to know them. Overall: I wish the food options were much different but I wouldn't have traded the time spent there for any other resort.

    Advertised "Activities Abroad" never happened/Butlers are a joke

    Pros: Snorkeling trips Drinks Club Mobay free if staying 5 or more days-contact front desk for tickets Cons: Quality of food Lack of advertised activities Butlers-Marcel and Tajay- non existent for us Completely agree with MrsGirlFriday when she said "this property leaves much to be desired for the price you will pay to stay. It does not offer the breadth of activities on site or food options as the other Zoetry properties and does little to alert you about the activities/events it does have (both free and for charge), as staff are not in the habit of communicating is/will be available. At a little over 2yrs old, this property is a refurbished resort/hotel that felt short staffed and short-sighted at every turn. For a "luxury brand" hotel, this felt far from it." We are not particular people by any means, we just expected what was advertised for the price we paid

    First, my husband and I love this brand of the AMResorts chain. This is the third (3rd) Zoetry we've visited (we've been to Zoetry in Punta Cana, DR & Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita in Cancun, Mexico). Both of those properties were larger and more secluded than Zoetry Montego Bay. Unlike other Zoetry properties which have someone greet you at the airport, NO ONE WILL ASSIST YOU - there are brief instructions on your confirmation email on where to go, however, the airport is a zoo and nothing says "Welcome" like being ignored at a kiosk. Once you're onboard your transport, Sangster Int'l Airport is approx. a 10min drive to Zoetry Montego Bay. The property is located on a slim bit of land between a busy thoroughfare and the ocean, lending to regularly scheduled sounds of incoming/departing flights and motor traffic. These can be heard throughout the property & although the noise is not ideal, it will be the least of your issues once you're checked in. The inconsistencies, lack of timeliness and zero sense of urgency began with being shown to our room much later than planned (1hr 30min), awaiting room service (a 45min estimated wait that turned into an 1.5hrs) and non-swimming/unhelpful dive shop attendants (who apparently have no basic idea what the services entail, just that they're offered). No one of these items are deal-breakers however, the culmination of them plus MANY others took some of the shine off our appreciation of the Zoetry brand and kept us from participating in a number of items especially the RCI package. Aside from a few staff members who were incredibly accommodating and sincere and a true pleasure to meet, this property leaves much to be desired for the price you will pay to stay.     Resort is quaint with employees ready to assist. Jerky Jo’s was the food highlight.

    Cannot say enough good things about the staff. They are cheerful, ready and willing to do anything to improve your stay. As an all inclusive, the organic food leaves much to be desired such as some flavor. We were supposed to have a butler service for our stay and finally met him briefly on day five for his introduction to us. Never saw him again until shortly before our departure. Our room was advertised as having a private pool but was really a shared pool with 3 other rooms. The resort is small but pretty. Took advantage of their kayak for a couple of peaceful outings. Very peaceful. If the pool was too busy, was able to go to two different areas on the beach for quiet times. Loved watching all the pelicans fishing and the herons flying by.
