Drug dealings and usage, physical and verbal altercations through-out the resort... Lots of loitering at the casino slots....individuals not gambling) I felt like i was at a low budget motel. Strong Odor of Marijuana through-out the entire resort. Lots of derogatory profanity and yelling of "Black Lives Matter" "F the Police" glass bottles being smashed.... even with the heavy presence of security, police and k-9's

I can’t say enough about this gorgeous resort. If I could rate the Venetian a 10 stars I would. Clean , excellent precautions in place for Covid 19 , always sanitizing everything. All the guest service members are primo!!

Hotel is very nice with good amenities. They are making a reasonable attempt to prevent Covid transmission; however their procedures are causing more problems than they solve. Eg they have limits on the number of riders in elevators; however at certain times of the day you end up with huge concentrated areas of people waiting for the elevators which prohibits any kind of social distancing. They also charge $55 a night resort fee. We stayed 3 nights and could not visit the pool once due to capacity limits. Basically we wasted $165. Overall we prefer the other hotels Luxor, NYNY etc and will stay there next time.

You will be right home at this hotel if: -You enjoy the strong sent of pot permeating across all public venues: lobby, casino floor, parking structure, pool, and hallway leading to your room. By the way, your room may have a no smoking policy, but that excludes pot. -You don’t mind be awoken at 2 am by a dozen people in the adjacent room enjoying a home-away house party. The explicit sexual references overheard were something to make a porn star blush. Security eventually put an end to their fun by 3:45am. By the way, the partying in this room concluded around 2 the night before, and yes the front desk was made aware. However don’t expect management to be proactive about service recovery. Manager Anthony’s only response was, “I’m sorry to hear that. Would you like me to move you to same room category on a lower floor?” Well Anthony, if you didn’t sleep two nights straight and needed to vacate your room because of an out of control party next door, hospitality 101 suggests an a least upgrade not a downgrade. -Are entertained by guests fighting over pool chairs. The pool reaches capacity early, resulting in stalking and a race to claim chairs of those leaving. But this activity is founded on good sportsmanship. Be prepared to witness all kinds of expletives and threats between individuals declaring ownership. By the way, the teenage kids of these people engage in the expletives and threats too. In between the great pool chair race, expect to be serenaded by the latest song with lyrics about violence and sex. Reality tv at its finest! -You don’t mind the pool bartender at Solero taking money for drinks, not washing their hands, proceeding to pick up mint with their bare hands, and put it in your drink. When the bartender was questioned about it, he noted he disinfects his hands regularly, just not in-between that transaction. -Lining up behind 20 people to use the elevator floors 1-17, no social distancing, but guests pushing to move past you. So if this captures the experience you are seeking, then this is the hotel for you!

Vegas was not for us AT ALL. We spent 3 days touring Zion, Bryce & Grand Canyon. Decided to spend a day in Vegas before flight out of LAS. The Venetian Resort is beautiful -the Grand Canal is like a Disney World for grown ups. The pools are beautiful. Took a 1 hour tour outside to see the fountain at the Bellagio, & to walk past the big name hotels I had heard of on the strip. I wasn't impressed at all - not sure what on earth people go to Vegas for. I found a comfy chair at the beautiful pool and spent my day there - that part of the Venetian was perfect. The room was clean & spacious - comfortable - but I won't be back in Vegas. Nothing there for me - better choice is to go see real beauty at the parks.
