More Space for the Same Price than Most Other Luxury Hotels!

tarawithatwist (Los Angeles, California) on Sep 22, 2023

After many trips to Vegas and stays at different hotels, I can say with confidence that The Venetian Resort will forever be my number one choice! The hotel rooms at the Venetian are by far my favorite part about staying there, because every single room at the Venetian is a spacious suite. Every suite has a separate sleeping area with a sunken living room, making the rooms at the Venetian almost twice the size of other standard rooms available on the strip. The room my boyfriend and I usually book is the Luxury King Suite, which is 650 square feet of pure comfort & luxurious bliss. There are 3 tv's in the suite, including one in the bathroom that you can watch from the all-marble roman bathtub. And yes, there are robes. Besides going as a couple, I also love going to the Venetian with a group, because not only is there plenty of space for everyone, but the bathroom is great when several people are trying to get ready at one time. There's a large mirror with dual sinks, a separate vanity desk with chair, a floor length mirror outside of the bathroom, and the toilet itself has its own door inside the bathroom. The one thing I honestly don't recommend is ordering room service - it comes in handy late at night when all the surrounding food options have closed (room service is 24/7), but after the $9 delivery fee, 18% added gratuity as well as the high markups on the menu, a breakfast for two can easily get up to $90-100 and I've never felt the food was worth that much - it's been more fun trying out new restaurants, in my opinion. In case you want to check it out though, I've linked the room service menu in the Venetian review on my blog (just scroll down to the Quick Hotel Facts). Walkability of the Venetian is great - there is so much to see & do in the Venetian resort itself, but you're also pretty centrally located to the other resorts on the strip that it makes it easy to explore. There's complimentary valet & self parking, which is also a plus! Overall, when you take into consideration the fact that most 4.5-5 star hotels on the strip charge similar rates for their standard rooms, the amount of space and luxury you get with the Venetian suites makes staying at this hotel a no-brainer.

Great hotel and great vibes but don't be mislead by the Front Desk

ernestrussell on Sep 22, 2023

Trip was great and I got to see tons of things within the hotel as well as eat plenty of good food. The sights, music, entertainment were great. My reason for 3 stars however is a result of a front desk experience I had where I was mislead into getting a room upgrade that I was told would be free of charge. Lesson here: never listen to their front desk and if they say its free make them write and hell take a video of them saying it as a precaution. I was charged an extra $500.00 for a queen deluxe when I had a King suite from the start. I would have never taken the queen deluxe if it wasn't for the front desk assuring me that it would be free of charge. Turns out this was lie.

Five stars for a reason

We just stayed at The Venetian for our fifth time. Over the past forty years we have stayed at a variety of hotels on the Strip. We have found that The Venetian offers great suites, a terrific variety of food and a friendly group of dealers and pit bosses especially in the Pai Gow area. If you don’t want to gamble on the hotel you pick choose The Venetian.

EXPLORING VENETIAN IN VEGAS

Jeric C on Sep 22, 2023

It was a great experience staying in the resort for the first time. The amenities are good, and the resort staff are very warm welcoming, I never had a single bad experience during my 2-day stay in the resort. Will come back soon.
