So so disappointed in this “5 star” hotel. Check in process was atrocious had to wait more than 1.5 hours after the 3 pm check in stated on the reservation for the room to be ready. They told us to wait for the text message when the room was ready but there was no cell phone signal or comfortable place to wait. And you can’t get internet without a room number being assigned. All this stuff is fundamental customer service why is it so damn hard? Not coming back ever.

We love The Venetian so will start with the good. The hotel and rooms are beautiful. The shopping and dining divine. Everything is immaculately clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. It’s conveniently located to most everything on the Strip and truly the only place to stay if visiting the Sphere. Now the not so good and what truly made our stay pretty miserable. We stayed in one of the newly remodeled luxury loft suites on the 23rd floor. Large rooms with really high ceilings. The problem - with 107 degree temps all 3 days, our room stayed unbearably hot. With the thermostat set on the lowest possible setting (55) our room never got below 74 degrees. We kept the curtains closed the entire time so the direct sun was not the issue. We complained and they sent a tech to check the situation and he said there was just not much that could be done. He blames a design flaw of the room - the vents in the rooms are not enough due to the the extra high ceilings - making it really hard to get the room cooled down this time of year. For what we paid, this really wasn’t acceptable but we toughed it out anyway. The hotel really needs to avoid using these rooms when it’s so hot if they can’t keep them cool or warn guests ahead of time so they can request a different accommodation. Overall - great hotel that I do recommend. I would just avoid these rooms during the summer.

The moment you enter the lobby, the meticulousness and impeccability are impressive. The self check-in kiosks make it simple and easy to access your room key cards. The views of the mountains in the distance during sunrise and sunset were spectacular from the twentieth floor, and being serenaded to on the gondala ride outside at night was memorable. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from for breakfast, lunch, dinner. There are about six or seven outdoor swimming pools, hot tubs, etc., and the nightlife is always lively. All of our interactions with staff were pleasant and professional, and the location is only fifteen minutes from the airport. Requesting a late checkout to stay a bit longer (if available) is definitely worth it.

The hotel and restaurants were in a scam mode. They uninformed of situations in order to get more money and changed policies which lead to a bad customer experience.
