Great Getaway

Bnp184 on May 04, 2024

My husband and I booked the Chateau Frontenac hotel for a 10 day getaway. We enjoyed the gold floor service everyday. We got to know the servers/hosts personally and they also offered suggestions on where to sightsee. We felt pampered and they knew our coffee preferences before we ordered. The maple lattes were delicious hot and iced. The hotel offered complimentary tours, wine tasting, mixology, and other experiences. By the time we checked out we felt like family and would definitely return again.

Fairmont Le Chateau or Disney World, could'nt tell the differnce;

One pool, full of naturally screaming kids with floatties. Want peace and quite, soaking in the the hot tube as you listen to the rhythmic screams of "Mraco Polo" relentlessly, yes stay at the Fairmont Le Chateau. Why not upgrade to "Gold" Club level, would never recommend that with Fairmont. Go to the 14th floor level, EXCLUSIVELY for Gold club members. WOW, sounds great until suddenly the kids from the pool come in as well, even the crying infants are ALL welcomed to destroy your privileged get-away to your exclusive luxury Gold Level. To add insult, the bar is NOT included, pay your premium($20/drink) for ALL alcoholic beverages. Tip, take a lesson from the Westin and their club level which includes alcoholic beverages and incredible food service both breakfast, tea time and early evening. Fairmont you are resting on your legacy, complacent, content that you are the main event and charging $450-$850 per-night is justified simply because your are the Le Chateau. Newsflash, 2024 news travels very fast when reviews are posted such as this and more people are greatly disappointed in their stay at the Farimont Le Chateau. My review will spread like wildfire and in time if your hotel remains as is, natural consequences will be reflected.

A+++

iamdina8 (Roseland, New Jersey) on Apr 25, 2024

Having worked in the travel industry, exceeded my already high expectations. First-time visit I chose to stay 4 nights in a standard room. Well-appointed, comfortable room with thoughtful amenities that one doesn’t always find in hotels lately (bravo Fairmont!). Property is impeccably run - from check-in, concierge, food and beverage, doormen, room attendants - top-notch training is evident that this property should be the standard for the Fairmont Chain. My entire stay felt dream-like as I felt as if I were staying in a castle.
