We had a fabulous experience at the Portifino at the Grand Palladium. Our waiter Hipilito was amazing and so accommodating. Highly recommend a visit to see him. He brought samples when we couldn't decide on food and a shareable dessert sampler for the while table. Awesome experience!

Hipolito at Portifino’s restaurant was absolutely amazing. Very friendly, very attentive and provided us with exceptional service. Would recommend 10/10.

Traveling with teens and disappointed that the pool at the colonial was too deep to play games, Pool Volleyball was for 1 hour and could not play because one side of the net the playing area was too deep to play. The activity people did not have events going on all day for kids. It was very boring for kids and adults. Beverage service was lacking in that they had one person attending to all the lounge chairs and the lines at the bars were long and the bars were not cleaned nightly and had an awful smell when you approached the bar like rotten food. Blenders were not rinsed properly after every use. The food was the same everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffets. Hamburgers did not taste like beef and were of the lowest quality. Overall the food was of very low quality and did not taste well and you were stuck eating the same thing for lunch and dinner at the buffets. No theme nights for the buffets. The ala cart restaurants were okay.

We stayed at the palladium white sands for 6 days. After day 3, the food at the buffets got very old. Getting reservations for the other restaurants was nearly impossible. The air conditioner in our room did not work properly, unfortunately. We stayed in the beach front room but you can not see the beach or ocean from your room (keep this in mind while booking) so that was kind of a bummer. There was a long boardwalk next to our building that took you to the beach. Lots of seaweed that does get stinky. If you walk farther down to the colonial, their beach is swimable and much nicer. We ordered room service once, and it took 3 hours to get one hamburger and a ham and cheese club. Never ordered room service again. We left tips by our fridge every day so they would restock it with water and soda. They took the tips but only gave us 2 waters and nothing else for the rest of our stay. The shows were good, the pools are clean, hard to catch the little cars to and from other resorts so be prepared to walk a lot.
