    Always a Pleasure at Beaches Negril

    To start off, I do apologize for not submitting my review earlier. I typed it up and the submission failed without my knowledge. Here is my review based on our amazing trip in March, 2020: Beaches Negril has been my family's number one vacation spot nearly every year since 2004. This year was our sixteenth time visiting the property and I must say that it has been more than a pleasure to have gone back to the place we call home. Being we have been returning guests for a while, a lot of the staff remembers of from years past, which allows for a warm Jamaican "welcome home". Over the years, my family has witnessed change after change and renovation after renovation. My honest opinion is that Beaches Negril is currently at the highest it's ever been. The level of professionalism coming from the staff is exceptional and the latest renovations, such as regarding the guest rooms, is exquisite. Knowing a bit if history about the property, BNG was first opened in 1997. Of course, to keep up with the times and to keep returning guests feeling refreshed and to continue bringing in new clientele, BNG has made it point to keep things fresh and modern. Each year when we return, there is something new and/or something has been renovated/improved. This is exactly what a good all-inclusive resort should be doing. Butler Service Our butlers, Novia and Conrad, were outstanding, as they have been every time we have had a butler suite. We don't get a butler suite every year, however when we do, we always request and hope that we get Novia and Conrad. Their level of professionalism, respect, and hospitality overall exceeds expectations and proves just how well they know how to do their job and the length of experience that they have working on the property. A huge shout-out to them for being the amazing, hard-working, dedicated people that they are and for always leaving my family with smile on our faces. We love you both. Entertainment Team I would like to thank each and every one of you for making my trip, as long as my family's trip, a pleasantly unforgettable one. Each one of you stands for the definition of PURE TALENT in your own ways. Ent. Manager Judine, Assistant Ent. Manager Asha, playmakers Adrian, Cadesha, Dershea, Michael, Prince, and Shamoya, it has been such a pleasure to say the very least. As we have known some of the staff that were there from previous years, we have also had the pleasure of meeting the newer staff members on the team this year. You have all provided my family and I with a feeling of pure joy, love, and overall a warm welcome. To Judine, thank you so much for getting to know my family and I this year. You have such a warm, jovial personality and a great vibe about you, and you most definitely know how to manage your team properly, not only with a sense of professionalism but with care toward each one of your team members, as my family and I witnessed among several instances throughout our trip. That's exactly the kind of leader/role model that the entertainment department needs and deserves. Definitely a job well done from my family and me. Asha, your peaceful personality provided my family and me with a feeling of happiness and joy. It was such a pleasure for us to have met you and spoken with you this year. Adrian, thank you so much for the sense of care and hospitality you've shown to my family and me and for reaching out to us and spending time with us. Your sense to reach out to us each day has been greatly appreciated now as in years past. You definitely know how to get the crowds moving and keep us as well as the other guests happy. Respect bredda. Shamoya, you are the definition of sweetness. Throughout our trip, you always knew how to make us feel welcome on the property with your sense of true passion for your work and that beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humor. Keep doing what you do best. Prince, based on my family's observations from this trip and from years past, you are such an amazing team leader and really know how to connect with the guests. You always know how to make people smile and definitely get their money's worth out of their vacation. As far as how you lead the team and make sure everything is set and done properly, you have some outstanding organizational skills within you. My family and I all agree that you would make a great department manager someday either here at BNG or at a different Sandals/Beaches property. A job well done to you, sir. Michael, Dershea, and Cadesha, it was such a pleasure to have met you all this year and we hope that you'll all be there for our next family stay. You each have a special talent within you and we want to thank you all for expressing that to our family throughout our stay. Kids Camp My family and I want to say a special thank you to the Kids Camp staff for being so kind and courteous to our family. Though we no longer have young children in our family, the staff always makes an effort to go out of their way to greet and talk with us and it is always highly appreciated. Throughout the years of our traveling to Beaches Negril, the Kids Camp staff has always been so kind to our family and has always gone above and beyond to ensure that we get the best experience out of our vacation. As I've mentioned, we no longer have young children in our family, verifying that we are indeed eligible to stay at a Sandals resort now, yet we still come to Beaches because of the warm greetings given to us by the staff, whether they have been there for a long time or a short one. To Sharon, Kids Camp manager, we would like to give you a special shout-out for running such an exceptional department and for always taking care of our family from our earlier years visiting the property up to the present. God bless you and your kindness and generosity. Pollyanna and Blossom, you are both such sweet, kind-hearted individuals and we want to thank you for going out of our way to spend time with our family. You have both known us for such a long time now and you always make us feel so happy to come back to BNG, our home, and enjoy another vacation there each year. Janellieve and Claudia, you have also known our family for so long based upon our yearly visits to BNG and I'd like to thank you both for being the kind-hearted, generous, and good-humored individuals that you are. We will always hold you near and dear to our hearts and are so grateful to have seen you both again this year. Katia, Nickesha, Tashana, Annakay, Monique, Samantha, and all other staff at Kids Camp were and always are amazing and are one of the main reasons why we go back to BNG each year. Thank you for all that you do for my family and I to ensure a wonderful stay. DJ's Santino, Marado, and even though he was only able to be there on our last night this year - Jaro, you were each outstanding and knew how to get the crowd going. Your skills on the wheels of steel are superb and you all know how to do your job well. Thanks for turning up the vibes for us and aiding in giving us a fantastic, fun experience at our home away from home. You guys are the best. Animation Dept. The Animation Department did a great job with their productions and interacting with the younger children, as always. Some members I'd like to point out are Dalton, Shandane, Scott, Anthony, and everyone else on the team. Great job guys, keep up the good work. Photo Shop Great job to the staff members of the photo shop for looking out for our family and helping us to create more happy memories at BNG. Some members I'd like to commend are Candice, Keno, Nicolette, Shanique, and Revon. Thanks to all of you for helping make our stay worthwhile. Bellhops Genard, Luther, Lindley, and others were very kind and always greeted us each time our paths crossed. Housekeeping Housekeeping did an outstanding job at keeping our room clean this year, as they do every year. Thank you for all of your hard work as it does not go unnoticed. Dining Staff Some of the dining staff we'd like to point out who played a part in making our stay at BNG so special and comfortable include but are not limited to, Marjorie-Ann from Mariachi/BBQ Grill, Conray from the Mill, Vanessia from Mariachi, Mauricio - chef at the Mariachi restaurant, and many others. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication in helping my family enjoy our stay. Other shout-outs I'd like to make to some staff members that made a positive impact on our stay include Mr. Williams, General manager for talking with my family and me and for making sure we enjoyed our vacation to the fullest, Chavel from the Concierge for being so sweet and generous to my family and me and for always sharing a laugh with us, Shanice from the front desk for also being so very kind and always having a bright smile on her face, Nickesha and Raven from the Sales Office for having such warm personalities and wonderful, happy smiles at all times. I'm sure I've missed some, but as you can see, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Beaches Negril, just as we always do. Thanks so much for the wonderful staff on the property for making us feel warm and welcome, and of course right at home. Suggestions If I may make just one suggestion: in past years, the entertainment team was able to use a microphone while playing music on the beach and near the pools. This year and last year, when we asked about why they have not been doing this, we were told that it was a corporate decision. The entertainment crew used to use the microphone to play games, get guests involved, and happily announce daily activities and nightly entertainment to the guests which really helps to professionally keep people informed on what’s going on day-to-day. Other than reading the daily Footprints article, there is no other way of knowing what is going on around the property that day. I understand that corporate must have made this decision for a valid reason, but as a long-time dedicated family of returning guests, this is one thing we would like for the company to bring back from the past.     Shame on Beaches Resorts

    We are booked to go to Beaches Negril for April break. We have trip insurance. The resort is closed and refuses to refund our money because we are booked on "non-refundable dates". Did I mention the resort is CLOSED? We have been there before, we want to go back.....but we currently have NO INCOME (self employed) and can not even consider rebooking. BTW, our airline refunded our money, no questions, no issues. I have been promised by 2 Unique Travel (parent company) reps that I will be contacted by a "senior booking rep" who has authority to refund our money. The 3rd rep stated that that person does not exist. So frustrated. A little goodwill would go a long way in these unprecedented times.

    Beaches closed, refusing to refund

    Don't ever book with Beaches or Sandals. They've closed all the resorts due to COVID-19, but are refusing to refund, just offering to rebook within a year. We have no option to rebook, April 2020 was the only time we could have gone, and they chose to close, not even counting the Level 4 travel advisory telling us not to travel overseas. If there is a class action lawsuit in the works on this we're in.

    Was 100% impressed with how clean the resort was and the customer service the staff provided . Eric with his smile, Giselle always looking out for us , and Gary walking around day to day to make sure all were happy and well taken care of . Concierge was was wonderful . Been to beaches Turks but am in love with the culture and facilities at Beaches Negril . New favourite spot!!! Beautiful Beach 10++++

    Gorgeous Resort with Fabulous Staff

    We traveled to Beaches Negril in February 2020. We had a fabulous time. Our room was clean and spacious (we had a two bedroom concierge suite) and had everything we could have needed. The fridge in the room was stocked with soda, juice, and beer, and we received additional items that we requested that weren't standard in the fridge (i.e. Diet Coke instead of Regular coke, etc.) The water park was a blast for the kids. I particularly appreciated the staff that were in the water park simply to entertain the kids. They were friendly and quite hilarious as you could hear the staff laughing over top of the kids halfway down the beach! We rented a Cabana on the beach for the duration of our stay. They booked us with the same butler, June, for the duration, which was fabulous as we really got a chance to get to know her. After the first day or two she started bringing us our favorite foods and drinks without even being asked. She was extraordinarily pleasant and a pleasure to get to know for 6 days. The restaurants were good and the service was quick, we had no difficulty getting a table anywhere we went for the duration of the stay. Our travel agent, Lindsey Hoffman with Ultra Tech travel, really hit the nail on the head with this one! Lindsey is fabulous and hasn't steered us wrong yet! (She even saved us the year before from a horrible resort that we booked against her recommendation and set us up in a fabulous 5 star hotel next door to save us from our own mistake.....lesson learned. Listen to Lindsey!!!)
