This was our third time @ Pacifica - we simply love it. We have been to many resorts in Mexico but this is our favorite. This year we stayed in the towers... from the minute we arrived Feliciano took very good care of us... getting us checked in w/ VIP service, snacks and drinks while we waited. He made reservations for us and attended to any need we had while there. I highly recommend - the extra expense is worth it. The rooms are very nice and clean w/ service every day and clean towels delivered every evening if needed. The food was excellent as well as the service. Really enjoyed Sunday brunch and all the servers (Eduardo, Franciso, Pilar to name a few) The pool servers are awesome as well - especially Alan and Guadalupa. All of the restuarants have fantastic food w/ a lovely presentation. The resort was at full capacity but you were never know it, doesn't have the chaotic, busy feel as alot of others do. We are already planning our trip for next year and will definitely request Feliciano as our butler.

I've only written one review before for anything - ever. And that was for this resort three years ago. I raved. It was spectacular! So, we saved our money and went back again Jan. 2020 with our two children and their husbands. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. They didn't have our rooms the day we arrived and said they would upgrade us to another room that night and move us to another room flawlessly the next day. The room they put us in was beautiful and an upgrade! However, the next day we made sure to be at the desk at the time they said for the transition of rooms. They still weren't ready. We waited a bit and then came back later. The rooms were ready but our luggage was not transferred to the new room. We asked them to please do it. They said they were too busy and we would need to take care of it although they weren't sure where the luggage was at that time. After stating that we needed to change to go to the pool, they found our luggage and promptly plopped it in the middle of the lobby and basically said - if you need it moved - then move it. I asked to speak with the manager (not all that nicely, I must admit) and they said he was busy. I then asked to set up a meeting and they checked with him and said to meet him (Miguel) at the lobby desk at 11 the next morning. I left my family on the beach that morning and went to meet with the manager. No manager. Too busy. Could meet in around 1/2 hour or he would call me as soon as he was free. Guess what? No call - ever. We truly felt that were were just flat-out lied to. Additionally - the staff (who was sooooo friendly, happy and helpful three years ago) seemed as though they were unhappy, overwhelmed and that the guests were more of a nuisance than anything. Our daughter, who is a manager at an upscale hotel was shocked at how they handled just about everything. The holes in the sheets and trash on the beach were other disappointments. On a positive note - the breakfasts there are wonderful - especially Sunday brunch. Such a bummer experience. We were looking forward to spending more vacations with our family there for years to come. Guess it's time to move on.

My husband and I enjoyed 11 wonderful days at Puebla Bonito Pacifica, one of the most enjoyable holidays we have had. Staff ( Jessy the “omelette lady; Doulche the hostess with the infectious laugh, Alain at the pool bar restaurant, Edwardrdo breakfast staff and many many more) were fabulous; kind, providing impeccable service at all times. The restaurants and meal presentation were always exceptional and we will definitely return. Thank you for a awesome holiday!

A High-End Luxury Resort for a Relaxing Vacation

**LONG REVIEW** We stayed here for our honeymoon for 10 days. This was not only our first time at this resort, but in Cabo as well (we're from the East Coast). This was my first all-inclusive experience, however it is something my husband has done a few times years ago. Pueblo Bonito Pacifica was amazing. Our goal for our honeymoon was to have a relaxing vacation. Since we were spending a decent amount of money (we tend to travel on the cheap - think AirBnBs), we wanted to ensure that we were getting what we were paying for - great location, amenities, facilities, food, etc. We feel we're pretty picky and critical, and this resort definitely delivered! While there are a few things we think could be improved, we would absolutely recommend this to others and plan to return. Vibe: To be clear, the vibe is definitely relaxed. While it is adults only, it isn't just "old" people - there were plenty of young people and there's a pool bar, but it is more of a relaxed, calm vibe where people go to enjoy themselves. It can be very fun during the day, but there isn't an insane sudsy pool party or bars that stay open with partiers till 2 am. It is definitely higher-end where guests are catered to. The guests dress well and most people we met were very friendly - only a few pretentious guests lol. Food: The food was one of the few areas we felt there was room for improvement. Considering the quality of the resort overall, the food is definitely lacking. To be clear, we only had one "not great meal," but also very "amazing" meals. Most was just OK and filled our bellies. The best food of all resorts (in our opinion, only where we ate): Breakfast - at Quiviera/Golf Course (no up-charge for breakfast!) Dinner - La Frida (a $30/pp up charge but TOTALLY worth it!) On-site dinner - Penninusla (no up charge) Snack - Fish tacos at the pool bar The worst food of all resorts (in our opinion, only where we ate): Breakfast - was really no worst, but there weren't many great options right in Pacifica. (The best of them was probably VIP Whale Watching Lounge.) Dinner - La Nao and Pescados (which is so disappointing, because Pescados is one of very few restaurants at Pacifica! :( ) Facility/Rooms & Staff: Our room was in The Towers. We didn't really understand the difference upon booking, but from our experience, the difference was (1) access to the VIP Whale Watching Lounge (TOTALLY worth it!!) and (2) having a Butler (also very worth it!) Our Butler was Gabriel and he was amazing. I even got sick and helped us a lot with that. He made reservations for us, but also got us hooked up with an awesome fishing charter! He even helped arrange for it to be cooked right at Penninsula that night. It was soooo fresh and yummy! He checked on us daily through text and stopped by to see us in the bar, pool area, room, etc. almost daily as well. Made for a much more relaxing trip. The rest of the staff there is truly top notch - shout out to Alan at the pool, Mitzi at the Penninsula bar (we LOVED her and she was so creative with her drinks!) and the guys in the VIP Whale Watching Lounge. That said, it's so important to tip them well. We assumed and expected that so we brought plenty of singles. We didn't meet a single staff member that wasn't great. We personally were never ever approached about a time share, but probably would have sat through a presentation. The facility itself is stunning. It's so clean, the pools, bars, etc. are all amazing. The sand that is created in unique patterns is mesmerizing. You CANNOT swim in the ocean here - it is way too rough and there is an undertow. But you can dip your toes in and walk along the beach. There is a free shuttle that takes literally 8 minutes to get to the golf course/steakhouse and sunset resort. Getting into town is also free but a little more involved - go to sunset, reserve a spot on the hourly shuttle. Ubers can go into the resort to drop you off, but cannot come and pick you up. There is a ton of security (in a good way, not a scary way) around the facility - lots of checkpoints. Golf: Yes, the golf is expensive. BUT it was sooooo worth it. Even if you don't golf, take a ride along because the scenery is insane. The golf was challenging but we'll probably never play another course like that again in our life. Do it. 100%. Spa: The spa was nice but average. VERY expensive, and the only reason I booked was because I had a discount. I got a basic Swedish massage. Again, good, but nothing I couldn't get back at home for 1/4 the price. All Inclusive: This was one of the areas that confused us and we didn't understand till we got there and spoke with people. Basically, there are a few different tiers in the resorts, and Pacifica is towards the top, if not the top (the townhomes are I think?). When you get all inclusive with Pacifica, you can go to any of the other resorts (Sunset, Rose, etc.) without being charged. However, our friends who are owners and spend half their time at Sunset and the other half at Pacifica, came to dinner at Pacifica. They were currently staying at Sunset. NOTHING was included! They had to pay for each drink, app, etc. out of pocket. I thought this was disappointing and confusing for how much money they spend there in general and it wasn't fun when we went out to eat then. Pacifica vs. the other resorts: We visited the other resorts in the Pueblo Bonito family. Pacifica is BY FAR the nicest. Sunset is a close second, but aside from it being family-friendly, it is absolutely massive and very overwhelming. You need to take golf carts everywhere and it just...gave us anxiety going there. We visited Rose when going into town and it was not nice. We'd probably never stay there. Overall, we had a truly amazing experience and cannot rave about Pueblo Bonito Pacifica resort enough. Can't wait to come back! :)

We’ve been here before, but got a room upgrade this time and will never be able to back to the standard! We were blessed with a Butler, Romeo, who was attentive, personable and helpful throughout our entire trip. Everything from coordinating transportation, dinner reservations and telling us funny stories:) we loved him and can’t wait to go back in February!
