The LINQ Experience

GrandTour447840 on May 03, 2024

LINQ Hotel low end hotel on the strip. Check in was a nightmare, quick check in computers were down. A few hundred people in line was pretty rough. The place is very hectic, busy and crowed. The Promenade down below is great, lots of restaurants and bars. In a Great Part of Town close to everything, fountains at Balligeo, Ceaser's and the Sphere. Rooms were just rooms nothing special, key cards did not always work on doors or elevators.

Very Disappointing!

Naomi b (Las Vegas, Nevada) on May 03, 2024

Very disappointing! We wanted to valet park only to be told there was no valet unless we went to the hotel next door. Advised to park in Garage 1, had to park on level 5 and then found out the elevator didn't work and we had to walk down!! Went to registration to check in and advised them of elevator issue in garage - they couldn't have cared less!! Then as we were checking in, after paying over $50/night, they asked if we wanted housekeeping - what nerve!! We go to find our room, which ends up being at almost the farthest part of the hotel, and are excited to see our view - rather what view - it was a cement wall and pillar!! What a disappointment!! The only person who seemed to care in the hotel was Alicia at the Bell Desk - a professional, nice, informative and caring individual! The only other good thing in our stay at The Linq was that there was plenty of hot water. I would say the rooms were like those of a 3 star motel.

The Linq, Las Vegas - Awful Experience

H7696CWjanetc (Mesa, Arizona) on May 02, 2024

VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! This was my birthday trip and we were very excited. We had heard great things about The Linq. From the start it disappointed. We drove up for valet parking to be informed that for valet parking we'd have to go to the next hotel and walk back. So we parked in garage 1 as advised by the attendant who took our luggage. Unfortunately he didn't tell us the elevator wasn't working - we had to walk down 5 flights!!! Next we go to check in and after charging us over $50/night "resort fees" they asked if we wanted housekeeping - I thought that was really nervy! Then told them about the elevator issue in the parking garage - they couldn't have cared less and declined to make any accommodation for it. We then went to find our room- it was so so far! We came in the room and were excited to see our view- WHAT VIEW - a cement wall and pillar!!!! Imagine the disappointment!! The only good thing which happened was when we went to the Bell Desk to ask directions and spoke to Alicia - what a nice, helpful, good natured person!! Over all a very disappointing experience. The room is the level of a 3 star motel.

Central location, but not really worth it.

James A on May 02, 2024

Not a bad stay, but not very reasonable given the cost. There was no breakfast included (not even continental, like just about every other hotel) and maintenance is apparently not a priority, as the parking garage elevator was down for almost our entire stay (it worked when we first arrived, then was out of order for three days.) The advertised cost per day was really attractive… then the final bill revealed a resort fee that doubled the total cost of our stay. Considering the lack of amenities, there was simply no justification in my mind for such a fee. Location is just not enough; sorry, but we won’t be returning.

Charge you for 20 minutes before check in

joshuad864 (Grapevine, Texas) on May 01, 2024

Our check in time for lovers and friends festival was 3:00 and they charged us $25 to check in at 2:40. Completely ridiculous and would never stay here again. They like to say this hotel is one of the newer properties but really it is just a rehash of older properties but with crappier policies.
