Rooms are freezing Stupid DJ blasting music all afternoon around the pool Hip hop rap gangster music where the demographics of the resort are average white folk in their fifties. I complained to head office about this but they don’t care Showers spray water all over the washrooms because they can’t afford shower curtains. Food and staff were fantastic. Great beach but non stop winds from the north at 26 mph, ALL DAY. Rooms are freezing because all thermostats are locked at 17 celcius. I guess they have money to burn

    Nice location!

This hotel has all access to the Atlantis Resort & is very close to the Coral Tower. The rooms are not very modern, but they are clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious! My only major concern was that the door to outside stairs didn’t always lock.

We stayed here in November 2019. I think the hotel is a great stay! The location is perfect, and the free breakfast is so convenient and it’s very tasty. We went to the breakfast every day around 8am and it was not that crowded and the food was excellent. They even had my favorite one morning HASH! For all those who have referred to it as meat concoction, it’s not. I was happily surprised and thanked the staff for making it interesting and delish! The air conditioner in the room was a bit loud, but it wasn’t bad and may drown out some hallway noise( which we didn’t really hear any). The ability to use Atlantis was also a plus. I suggest walking to Margaritaville for great food and so friendly staff. Although I got back home and was charged a fee by the hotel I’m not sure what for but We will be returning in March 2020.

Spotty internet. Toilet works sometimes. Air conditioning works sometimes. Bartender attempts to charge us for other people's drinks. Breakfast food runs out, and no dishes for buffet. Restaurant is overpriced. Overall it sucked. Vending machine sucks. I hate this property and wouldn't return if you paid me. They make really really good coffee though.

Things to Know Before You Go

This is what you need to be prepared for: when you come back from Atlantis there will be no hot water for your shower. We had weather in the 70s with wind so when we came back to the hotel we were cold and were disappointed not to be able to have a hot shower. The wi-fi is preposterously slow—almost non-functional. There is inadequate seating in the breakfast room. One day the breakfast “meat” offered was a mush of unidentifiable meat-based-gristle and potatoes. But most outrageous were the surcharges. Every day we (2 adults and one 15 year old) paid $47.85 in a utility surcharge, $34 in a hotel surcharge, $35.51 in a resort levy, $15 in a mandatory housekeeping gratuity, and of course, the VAT. That took a room rate that was advertised at $317.05 and turned it into a room rate of almost $500 per night. That is 57% over the advertised rate. You need to know what you will actually be paying out-of-pocket before you decide whether you want to go. We also stayed at another hotel while in New Providence. We found considerably lower surcharges on that bill.
