Very nice place with a lot of fun things to do. Great staff which include Tito, Michael, Augestine, Luis. Very nice people, and they made you feel like you were family. Good drinks, good food and a good time. Highly recommend!

The staff was friendly - desk clerks, restaurant and bar staff, housekeeping and kids' activities The floors were constantly kept clean - we saw someone cleaning them throughout the building all day, everyday. The selection of drinks was acceptable. We were disappointed that eating at the restaurants was limited to once each for our week long stay and the rest our the meals were at the buffets (not a fan of them). The food was adequate - same choices everyday, but it tasted good. There was one night my husband and son both got upset stomachs (husband sickly all the next day and son was better by midday). We concluded it was a seafood item because that's the only thing they ate the same ad both got sick around the same time after. The activities team was really fun! Only downside is the games are scheduled and its different daily. Would be better if you play whichever games when you wanted. We only watched one nightly show. It was entertaining. The pools closed early and there's not much to do after other than the nightly show and be in your room. The water wasn't the clearest or prettiest but my son and husband snorkeled and boogie boarded. It was an enjoyable and fun family trip. My son pre-teen enjoyed the children's activities and liked the staff.. My husband and I got a massage. It was okay - different techniques than we're use to I guess. The fitness center was nice. Good equipment in working condition.

Great two weeks ! Had a lot of fun with the pool bartender, Agustin Loeza. Always made us feel special, like we were the only ones there. Even on the hottest days, Agustin was full of energy. Always smiling, joking and ready to answer any questions we had about Mexico, the city, the people, the drinks, his family life. Really great guy! If we go back to this hotel, he will be the reason !

Work trip team building - 6 employees. Arrived and checked in and of course as all do asked for any complimentary upgrades - NONE. 6 of us (4 men/ 2 girls) we work together. When we went to our rooms - all rooms had 1 king size bed. We then had to go back and ask for 2 rooms the double beds to be separated, the womens room was a true king. They first implied we sleep together, then offered us a cot for a night in that room until they find another room. 2 hour discussion with the Manager of the hotel, whom we had to ask to stop raising his voice to us, who also told us we should have requested that all rooms don't have a king bed because now we are pretty much inconvenient them for separating the beds. Isn't a standard room 2 doubles/queens?? In all my experience of travelling one had to ask for a king or a king was considered an upgrade. In the end women got a new room a floor below the men - YAHHH but then our bathroom ceiling was leaking the whole stay - we didn't say anything because we didn't want the hassle of finding another room or talking with manager. BETTER YET!!! the mens room x 2 NEVER got the beds separated - we asked each day and each night. YES we would have separated them but unfortunately one bed would have no blankets. OVERALL NOT a 4 star - definitely a 3 star, food OK, I have had better at a 3 star in Puerta Vallarta. Hotel location great, clean yes - thats all they have going.

Excellent time for the adults to get away. Hotel was clean and the staff worked hard to ensure everyone enjoyed themselves. We upgraded to Royal Club and highly recommend that if you do, you must eat dinner at the Royal Club restaurant at least once, food is great and the view from the top floor is amazing - sunset over the ocean. We had a great experience and would recommend.
