The dance team was entertainment and high energy. Foam party was amazing and the vibes were great! Views from the pool where the cabanas are also have a convenient bar as well as friendly servers that were consistent. Ammenitities and resort were good and recommend again!

This property is not five star but delivers in its niche. It is clean and right on the ocean. The food and drinks satisfied my very fussy group and we felt safe everywhere we explored. It was lovely to sleep at night with the veranda door open and listening to to ocean

From the unfriendly staff to the wash rooms that smell like death I will never return here again very disappointed

We spent 9 nights in a "Deluxe Ocean View" room; which was over looking the pool with a nice view of the beach and ocean. Is this a 5 star resort? No. But does it tick many of the 5 star boxes for the price? Yes. Our room was great: bed was comfy, room was clean, air condition worked great and not too loud (as stated by other reviewers), no smells, no bugs (as stated by other reviewers), our room was cleaned everyday & our mini fridge was filled everyday. Zero complaints there. The location can't be beat. an easy walk to the marina and a quick cab ride to town in the other direction. (Get dropped off just before the Malecon and it will cost you about 110 pesos) I'd rate the food as 3 star. Some was great, some not so great. The buffets were fine; we always found something to eat. The tacos at the snack bar... yum! Worse case just eat tacos! You won't go hungry! We managed to have decent meals in all the specialty restaurants with an item here or there that wasn't up to par but we just ate what we enjoyed, moved on & didn't let it affect our vacation. Same with the peeling paint and missing tiles in various areas... did this affect our vacation? No! Is the resort in need of a facelift? Yes. But again: the price is not a 5 star price... the staff are 5 star, the location is 5 star AND no children... definitely 5 star!! Plus you have the use of 2 full resorts, 6 restaurants, several bars, and a beautiful beach with gorgeous views. What more could you ask for? Focus on the good and you will have a great time. We are already planning a trip back!

This was a birthday trip, and we regret not choosing a different resort. The food was of one-star quality and consistently cold. The resort is extremely run down, and the air conditioning in the room was excessively loud.
