Wonderful week at Hard Rock Cancun

Great 3-night stay

We had a 3-night stay here, and enjoyed every minute of it. To start with, the ease of the airport-->hotel shuttle was very much appreciated (along with the same in reverse). The room itself was spacious, clean and had a great balcony. It was also very quiet within the room, which was quite nice. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly, but we want to give a big shout out to Victoria at Ciao, who made us feel extra special. On our last morning, she even arranged to have a special gluten free cake made for my wife to thank us for staying here. The beach and pool areas were also quite nice and we never had an issue finding a lounge chair. The only item that I would say could use improvement would be for the hotel to stop with the Legendary club sales pitches and only give it to guests that are truly interested in it.

Wonderful holiday with my love....cant wait to return

We were welcomed with the sales pitch and I declined quickly as I did not know that it was a sale pitch when visiting Punta Cana location last May. The rep respected my response and was never bothered again. From the time we stepped on the main pool deck while I room was being prepared, Edwin at the towel counter made us feel like we were the only people there. The pool chairs were mostly full and not an umbrella in sight. We quickly found and moved two chairs for us and came with an umbrella. He continued to help us each day and his service is suburb. His wife is expecting later this year and works at the bar inside. Make sure to congraduate them if you get a chance. Next "The Prince" (Jesus) was our server by the pool for the week and he was absolutely amazing. I cant thank him enough for making us feel like the "REAL VIP." Both Edwin and Jesus deserve a raise!! We listened to one of the most amazing singers while staying here and at the Iberostar Select Coral Level, Cancun. IVAN TASHER BRINGS IN IT IN EVERY PERFORMANCE. YES, we saw him perform 4 different times between the two resorts. WE CAN SING EVERYTHING!! The sales pitch with RCD at check out is a little much. BEWARE. REMEMBER TO TIP EVERYONE, THAT HELPS MAKE YOUR HOLIDAY SPECIAL!!

Avoid rooms above bar area on 3rd floor …

Unless you’re planning to stay up until 1:00am when the live DJ stops, avoid the 3rd floor rooms between the elevators as they’re directly above the bar/DJ. Otherwise, you’ll listen to the thumping of music from 10:00p-1:00a. We had to wear earplugs every night. And the front desk didn’t care when we asked about the volume of music.

Relaxing but lots of fun at HRH

HRH has the best service. The resort is clean, the staff always treat you as you are the only one they need to tend to, the rooms are lovely, comfortable and clean. Speaking of the bedroom, the mattress is the best I have ever slept on away from home. The pillows and the pillows off the pillow menu were perfect. My neck did not hurt because of the pillows. The entertainment and the entertainment staff is great. My butler’s, Hector and Rafa, were awesome, especially Hector. I have had him as a butler in the past and will ask for him again. He cares that you have a great time and all your needs are met. In one of the restaurants, particularly in Zen, the manager, Donavon, and the waiter, Efrain, were awesome. They were attentive to us and made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. I am ashamed to say I didn’t get the name of the lady who made the omelette’s and fried eggs. She made the best omelette and fried eggs out of all the restaurants at the resort. On the Oasis Island, Maria was the best and caring waitress at the pool. We had several over the week but Maria was the best by far. Speaking of the pool, they have two swim up pool bars. I tried both but I always went back to the “Float Bar” to Quatzal (aka Q), he knows how to make cocktails of any sort. The best drinks I had was a Mojito. Oh my. He would make a Mojito with extra mint and some gingerale and Bacardi (clear not dark). I have had mojitos in the past but never one as good/great as the one’s “ Q “ made. He was the best bartender at the pool. I always love coming to this resort. Any I will return. HRH is building another HRH Cancún. I will also visit that resort as well. Hard Rock Resorts have it all. Rocking, Relaxing, Entertaining, and in my book, caring that you have a grand time. Thank You to all the staff at HRH Cancun. It was a wonderful experience!!!
