The stay here was great! Amazing and friendly staff and felt very safe. They ensured everyone was wearing masks and properly distanced. I rented a cabana at the pool and they definitely took care of us by ensuring our drinks and food was taken care of consistently.

My family with 3 small children needed a one night stay in Las Vegas after flying in late. We chose the Luxor because it looked cool and was close to the airport. Some reviews said the pyramid rooms were dated so we reserved a west tower room. It was super clean and updated especially for the awesome rate we got. Contactless check was amazing so we could get right to our room. Our kids loved the Egyptian theme and even though no shows or exhibits open, there was a lot to see. We would stay here again!

My friend and I had a great stay at the Luxor! We upgraded to a Premium Tower room with 2 queen beds and i'm so glad we did. These rooms are recently renovated and much nicer from what I've heard about the Pyramid rooms. It was very clean. You could tell the room was a little dated but again, everything was clean and the beds were super comfy. The bathroom was actually really large as well and we had a decent view of the Excalibur and mountains. There wasn't a ton of noise that we heard so that was a plus. One note, the Pyramid rooms are closest to the casino, market, Starbucks, etc. but it really wasn't a far walk at all from the Tower. We did one pool day and we booked a day bed ahead of time. I would HIGHLY recommend doing this. If you don't, you will have to be put on a wait list if the pool is full. We were there from about noon-6 PM and by the time, 3 or 4 hit, the pool was PACKED. There were no chairs left so people had to put their stuff on the side by the pool. I did not appreciate this as our relaxing, un-crowded pool day turned it to SO MANY PEOPLE. I was honestly shocked at how many people were allowed to be let in due to COVID. If there are no chairs left, why would you let more people in?? Other than that, the pool was overall relaxing and COLD. The cocktail waitress we had was fabulous. Drinks were strong and the food was SO good! I really loved that the Luxor was connected to Mandalay Bay so I didn't have to take an Uber when I needed to get to FedEx. I would stay at this hotel again if I am on a budget.

I have booked a room at the Luxor for October 2020. Due to the ongoing pandemic and the fact that my wife and I are over 60 together with the ban on travelling to the USA I wrote to the hotel on several occasions to seek a refund. I have not had any replies to my correspondence. I have not been able to resolve the matter and find that this clearly shows that the Hotel management are only interested in money. I find it hard to believe that the hotel is so unwilling to make contact and this reflects badly on the Hotel as a whole. I would seriously consider if you are thinking of booking this Hotel for a visit to Vegas that you book an alternative. Since it is part of the MGM Group I would also advise against booking any of their other hotels, in Vegas or at all.

Everything went well except the elevator access in West Tower. I used the MGM resort check in to skip checkin but the elevator scanner did not read the mobile app QR code to be able to access the floor
