Not going back to this one.....

Trek597488 on May 03, 2024

I'll start off by saying the place was clean and the staff were friendly..... Food - Was not great. Late in the season so I am not sure if the quiet resort was to blame but it was always a hunt to find out where dinner was to be served and what you'd find on option. Bfast was fine but lunch was terrible with the same old stuff and and less than perfect burgers ..... we left the resort almost every day to find better food options. The advertised Japanese restaurant was never once open? The Italian restaurant was just a buffet and was mediocre at best. Rooms - good enough. I was in the new tower. My room had a door attached to the room beside us and the noise carried between them like it wasn't even there. Did not help that the family next to us was loud and loved to sing? Not the resort's fault but having kids knocking on the doors at all hours was a bit much. *** BED BUGS *** I wqs eaten alive after noticing a couple bites on day 3/4. By day 6 i was a mess. I thought is might have been mosquitos until I googled what a bed bug bite looks like. My clothes are all now in quarantine at home until I can properly get them cleaned so as not to infest my own house. As stated the rooms were clean but... I am still covered in bites/welts and itching like a madman. I should have asked for different room but by the time we figured it out it was close to the last day and the damage was done..... Booze - It was fine and they were always eager to fill up your cup Atmosphere - Very quiet with little to do after dinner. The lobby bar was the only option and it was super hit and miss if there would be anyone there at all.... My Son (23yrs) was bored silly and we both ended up going to bed early most nights after looking for things to do off resort. Over all I blame a little of this on the fact it was late season but I will NOT be going back no matter how competitive the price looks. Feel free to reach out to me for more info? Adam from Calgary

Too loud. Not for families.

Ellie M on Apr 28, 2024

Our room was located right outside the concert area, which we were not aware of a Michael Jackson tribute band going on. It was extremely loud and my young family was not able to get to sleep until around midnight. The staff told us it was only a 30 minute concert and it lasted over an hour. We had a horrible travel day leading to the exhaustion. We were told we couldn’t switch rooms. Honestly the stay wasn’t that bad but this ruined it for us.
