Most disappointing experience .. ever

This was the poorest experience we have ever had at an all inclusive in Puerto Vallarta. It took us changing rooms 3 times over the first 2 days to be given a room that was acceptably clean and had a working shower and toilet. Even then there was mold in the shower and we had to ask for the shower head to be replaced. The food was very poor both in the buffet and the a la carte restaurants. You had to try and get a reservation the day of, through the Krystal app, only to arrive with 40 other diners at the same times to be be seated and served. Considering the quality of local produce, seafood etc. that is available, it was a herculean effort to serve food this poor. My best meal of the week came from assembling my own Poke bowl in the buffet. Upon checking out we were advised that this hotel (after recently transitioning from a Hilton (which is what shows up when you order an Uber) will now be going to the Hyatt brand. That would explain why the floor and furniture in the common areas look they had not be cleaned in months. If you are thinking of staying here , Don't.

Amazing

This report is a great place. Highly recommended. The rooms were comfortable and consistently kept clean. Very easy access to the beach. Everything you need is here. The staff is friendly, especially Eduardo from Aquamarina. He is the best!!

Uncrowded beaches

Very comfortable beds, I slept very well. Very wonderful hotel with 4 pools. Good activities, which was actually quite fun. Sandra was amazing. The only problem I had was that the restaurants were all-inclusive. I like to have breakfast at the hotel, but I like to go out and eat at different places at night.Iit would be nice if the restaurants offered menu service and I could pay cash. The beaches were uncrowded which I loved.

Construction but has potential

The hotel has potential but is unfortunately under construction. Barbara was amazing at accommodating my family to meet our needs. We thank her for going over and above for us. She really saved our vacation and we cannot thank her enough. Thank you.

Tear this Resort down now. We could have stayed under the bridge a block away and received better food and service.

The worst we have ever seen. This Resort was new 40 years ago and never updated. From the concrete hard beds, no dressers to no room service to the no premium watered down booze, the absolute worst. Mexican food all day, for all 3 meals, everyday !?! Save your money and don't stay here. We invited some guests for a visit, they were insulted at the front desk all the way to the beach. Upper management tried to make up for it with a small fruit basket...Too little to late. The music at the pool was purposely turned up so loud so those trying to relax wouldn't hear all the construction noise. There was no swim up bar as advertised, no ala carte menu as advertised, no play area for children as advertised. This booking was clearly a bait & switch. We recommend they close and knock it down before anyone else discovers how their hard earned money is wasted by the false advertising, the broken promise's and lousy, lousy business practises this dump has to offer.
