Overall good if you want a quiet, relaxed vacation

Beach is great.... never a problem finding a lounger at any time of day. Not sure if that's the normal or we got lucky. Room was nice, kept clean. I always test for bed bugs and it passed! Note there is no safe or refrigerator. Housekeeping was slow, room was not cleaned until dinner time. Also, they took towels and did not replace, I had to call multiple times to front desk to have them send some up. There is no night life so if you're looking for something to do after dinner, don't look here. For food options...there is one main buffet by pool that is for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Another Italian restaurant in main building and an oriental restaurant that requires a 24-hour advance reservation. Never a wait and servers are great! Food is repetitive which is expected at any all-inclusive. Place shuts down by 11pm, no food or drink options. Hotel bar stays open the latest which may be midnight. We were on first floor and it's noisy with people walking through as it's open to pools on both ends. Also, we had two rooms and neither patio door actually locked. Overall staff was very friendly and rooms were clean. I think it just depends on what type of vacation you want.

Amazing service by incredible and friendly servers and bartenders who go above and beyond to make our week vacation memorable and fun. Special thanks to our favourite breakfast server Jared who is just so friendly and amazing who always made sure we started our days off right! Muchas Gracías JARED!!! Constructive Feedback on Recent Stay – Areas for Improvement

I recently stayed at this property and wanted to leave balanced, honest feedback to help both the hotel and future guests. While I appreciate the team’s efforts, several issues impacted my comfort and overall experience. The room itself was not fully ready upon arrival. The duvet cover had a prominent red-brown stain that strongly resembled a blood stain. This was concerning from a hygiene perspective and should have been caught during housekeeping turnover. Temperature control was another challenge. The air conditioning was unable to cool the room adequately despite being reported to the front desk. The space remained uncomfortably warm throughout the stay. One evening we lost water pressure for over two hours, eliminating the possibility of taking a shower. The issue was finally resolved close to 10:00 p.m., which was quite inconvenient. In addition, the bathroom was missing facecloths upon check-in. The swimming pools were noticeably murky with poor water clarity, making them unappealing for use. Regular maintenance or improved filtration appears to be needed. Smoking policies were not well enforced during my visit. Guests were smoking in various common areas, and I observed cigarette butts on the elevator floor—an enclosed public space—which affected the environment for non-smokers. At checkout, when I mentioned a couple of these matters, the staff seemed focused on providing explanations rather than offering any form of compensation or goodwill gesture. A more guest-focused resolution approach would have been appreciated. I share this feedback constructively, as the property has clear potential. Addressing housekeeping standards, preventive maintenance for HVAC and water systems, pool care, consistent policy enforcement, and a more proactive approach to guest concerns at checkout would significantly elevate the experience for everyone. I hope management finds this helpful and takes appropriate steps to strengthen service quality.

Wonderful little resort

Smaller resort with fantastic staff. Breakfast buffet with Jesus -amazing. Afternoon margaritas with Ernesto at the beach bar.

Good Time at Krystal Vallarta Hotel

The staff were very friendly. Arturo went above and beyond to satisfy our needs. Gerardo was amazing and very attentive and funny. These are only a couple of the names I can remember but many of the restaurant staff were kind, friendly, and did anything they could to make us happy. As for the resort, it was fun, but there seemed to be a lack of evening activities and entertainment. The evenings that had live entertainment were very nice. We also enjoyed the jewelry and souvenir shops set up along the pathways.
