First of all they do not even deserve one star and maybe not a half of a star. This a been a horrible honeymoon. The check in process was over an hour. Getting a ride to the building took another 45 min. The honeymoon package was not what was promised. No sign on door, no flowers, no sparkling wine. We arranged the beachside dinner, hopefully that goes well. We were needing a toothbrush but never got it. We asked 2x and just got one somewhere else. The sheets on our bed seem to be always moist. We were never oriented to the activities in the hotel. All shows were missed completely. No one told us there was an app for the hotel info and activities , restaurants etc. Our concierge Claudia did not tell us any of this. there was no sign at check in or in the rooms. We have pictures to prove them. We are very disappointed ! We leave tomorrow and we’re never doing this again.

This resort has been absolutely amazing!!!! Here for our honeymoon and beyond happy with how we have been treated, no surprise costs, amazing music, and fantastic food! Eric, Juan, and Sandy from entertainment were sooo helpful and fun! Tony at the bar was amazing as well. I highly recommend the honeymoon suite with amazing views and great deals. They made the necessary covid testing to return to the USA easy as well. It was onsite and free which took away a lot of stress for me. I would definitely return to this resort!

We booked this place because it was supposed to be adults only. Apparently according to the hotel adults only means...little kids running around everywhere. WTF??? We have kids at home and we just wanted to get away and have a good time without hearing kids crying and screaming but nooooo....they're running all over the place. Such BS! We complained to management while there and they said there were only a couple of kids there with a wedding group and that they could only be in certain areas but it's all a lie. We saw (and heard!) kids EVERYWHERE! We're never coming back here. Karisma needs to get their act together because this is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Do NOT come here!

We decided to give it a try despite the OK reviews (that was our mistake). Day One: no one was at the airport to pick up us, had to call to the hotel to find out what was going on..... at the arrival clerk asked us to mask up (which is ok) but never provided and/or offered one) we did not had one at that time, when we finally got into the room, we found trash from the previous guest. Day 2,3,4,5, 6 etc. (not to be boring) They charged us for food we never had (lobster) We used to fight every day for extra bottled water (they just provide 2 bottles per day at the room). We fought every day for shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. they dont refill amenities. We fought every night with poor trained servers that tried to make us drink wine that was not good and with defects (these wine bottles we had to buy them as upgrade amenity ... We had to fight even for booking dinners at their restaurants (they don't book in advance more than 1 night ahead) so they make you waste your time trying to find a concierge they are not available so easy and trying to find a stop left to have dinner..... We tried to use the coupons (at the hotel app) they offered you at the check in but they don't honor them at the check out... (spa, wine, special dinner discounts). We asked to speak with any manager, and that never happened in our whole staying.. until we were leaving and fought for the charges we were not agree to pay.... We got sick (food poisoning) and front desk just offered to send someone to get some meds but at our cost.... Don't take me wrong , they have a beautiful beach and a couple staff members that they are genuine and really do the extra mile such Alejandro Carrillo "a manager" Raul the morning bartender at the beach, Erick the morning server at the beach restaurant and a couple great servers at night at the late night bar.... other than that management in general are not even worried and or hands on providing for what are you paying for which is having a relaxing and no hassle staying..... do not even try to contact their corporate staff (we tried and still no answer or apologies still )....

my husband and I are Frequent travelers we have been to many chain resorts all over Mexico, Punta Cana, Jamaica, etc. I want to start off by saying we stayed April 3rd to the 10th . At first we loved this resort, it was quite, relaxing , the service was impeccable( we were already planning our trip back with family and friends) although check in took a bit even though no one was there. Our "room " was not ready upon arrival and we had to wait until 4 pm for it which when the resort is at 30% capacity, to me there is no reason the room should not be ready upon arrival and all request or most requests honored. We had book a beach front room which i thought per pictures etc we on the infinity side facing the beach. I soon found out that was not true and i was at a totally different resort next door to infinity ( but that is a whole other story) Room: VERY dated, falling apart the rooms are horrible, the beds are the most uncomfortable i have ever slept in at a resort the my husband hated the pillows and had a stiff neck the whole week. the only good thing about the room was the design and layout. I loved the tub in the sunken living area with the window to lookout at the palm trees. the water pressure was great and water was hot. The toilet barely flushed usually took 2 to 3 flushes to get it to work . Service: Service was great until the wedding party with KIDS arrived, yes you saw that correctly KIDS at a ADULT ONLY resort. From then on it seemed Service went down hill. Kids were running around and jumping and splashing into pool area by swim up rooms. Due to Covid at the "buffet" restaurants they have people serving you I stood one morning for 15 minutes while workers walked straight past me and 3 other people to get a chocolate croissant i finally reached behind the plexiglass and grabbed my own. We went to dinner one night ( it was italian night) and we waited in line for 15 minutes to get soup my husband finally made it later to get pasta but I never made it to that line. I'm not sure if they were under staffed or what. It made me think about what this place would be like at a higher capacity. Food: the food I thought was wonderful some of the best I have had at resorts ( other than Dreams) but I have stayed at Catalonia's , Iberostar's, Grand Palladium etc and I thought the food in comparison was great My biggest issue is we picked Adult only to have a relaxing last minute week away when i went to my travel site( Apple vacations) I clicked on Adult only so that is all that showed I figured with Covid etc it was less of a risk. ( as you need negative result ) to get back home. then they allow kids and our relaxing week was not so relaxing anymore. if it was a one time thing I could maybe look past it all but from our complaints we found out that kids were arriving again on April 23rd. to me this is unacceptable i have filed a complaint with Apple vacation that is still on going about having their Adult only status taken away ( as they are usually more expensive) As of right now we are still trying to settle with resort and Apple as they want to give a a 75 $ credit for future travel. I love Apple vacation and they are my go to travel site. I don't believe that this is acceptable and I am waiting for reply I would suggest if you don't mind kids on vacation then you pick here it is nice and quite and was relaxing ( i am not sure what it is like at full or even almost full capacity ) if you don't want kids at your resort and pick a ADULT ONLY resort and want it to be truly adult only then GO ELSEWHERE . this is not the place for you
