Been through many Royaltons throughout Mexico and love the brand. This hotel was the former Royal Antuigan and has had a face lift and branded with the Royalton name. We had reservations at the steakhouse and were told they had no filet or New York strip. Strange for a restaurant that serves steak and it’s staple. In another restaurant we were seated at the beach bar and were told they had no fries, no burgers, no chicken. Entertainment is terrible the one bright spot was the white party which was very good. The beds might be from the former hotel sagging and worn. The staff are all friendly and do their best to accommodate. Vibe staff seems more interested in playing ping pong with each other. The food counter by the pool bar you never know what they are serving and they seem bothered when you try to ask them. This resort could easily lift the rating with a thorough review of the management. Beach and water are great but certainly not a five star resort.

We are so sad to leave such a wonderful place! Enjoyed the resort, food and staff! Beds are so comfortable!! Great beach with nice sand and average waves… perfect for kids! Particularly like what the diamond club has to offer… convenient dinner reservations and special attentions ! Special words to thank and highlight the work of our butlers , Taniqua and Shawnette as well as Ella and her team at the Grazie restaurant, our breakfast was even better when you were around! Best wishes!
