This hotel is perfect for a great relaxing break. We stayed in the hotel 8 years ago and, although it now looks tired in places, the overall facility is clean and tidy. Let me mention the staff (many of whom remain from our last trip). They are absolutely brilliant, friendly and efficient. The food in the two restaurants is very acceptable on the main and, at times, can excell. Premium drinks ( Absolute Vodka, Beefeater Gin etc.) available at no extra cost. You seldom wait for a drink. The beach is smaller now than before but still a good size with free water sports if you are that way inclined. All in all, we would recommend Waves and look forward to returning

????? A Relaxing, Beautiful Stay at Waves Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection – All-Inclusive Waves Resort & Spa exceeded my expectations from the moment I arrived. The resort is intimate, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect place to unwind while still being close to the excitement of Barbados. One of my favorite surprises was the generous storage space in the room. The spacious closets made it easy to unpack everything I brought—from resort wear and beach outfits to my elaborate Grand Kadooment Day costume, shoes, and accessories. I never felt like I was living out of a suitcase, which made the stay even more comfortable. The beachfront is absolutely stunning. I loved spending time under the beach umbrellas, listening to the waves, and taking in the breathtaking turquoise Caribbean Sea. Whether relaxing with a drink, watching the sunset, or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, every day felt like a true escape. This trip was especially memorable because I traveled to Barbados to attend Austin Bennett’s wedding, and Waves Resort provided the perfect home base for celebrating with friends and family. The all-inclusive experience meant I could focus on enjoying every moment without worrying about the details. Of course, one of the highlights of my vacation was participating in Grand Kadooment during the Crop Over Festival. After a full day of music, dancing, and celebrating Barbadian culture, it was wonderful returning to such a comfortable, welcoming resort to relax and recharge. I stayed on the adult side of the resort - ages 17 and older only are permitted. The spa is also on this side of the resort where I took advantage of a Sea Salt scrub. What truly made the experience exceptional was the hospitality. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome. Kevin - check-in, activities, etc. Jeanine at the spa. Zoe at the front desk. Their warmth reflected the spirit of Barbados itself. If you’re looking for a boutique-style all-inclusive resort with beautiful accommodations, immaculate grounds, a gorgeous beach, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere, I highly recommend Waves Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection. Whether you’re visiting for a destination wedding, the Crop Over Festival, or simply a Caribbean getaway, this resort offers an experience that’s both luxurious and unforgettable. I left with incredible memories, and I already know I’ll be back. ????????
Very relaxing holiday at this chilled hotel

Great location and perfect for family with teenage kids. The all inclusive element is great, food pretty good and lots of local fish etc. Indian restaurant is nice. We did eat out at other restaurants on the island a lot as well to mix it up. The best thing about the hotel is the staff by far, they literally can’t do enough for you, all so friendly- constant drinks by the pool or beach and a special mention goes to Ether for cooking perfect eggs for breakfast. She even sent us home with her special jerk recipe! Watersports on beach pretty good and absolutely no sun lounger wars! All other guests seemed v chill. Nice little gym too. Decor a little tired and some areas do need a refurb but perfectly clean and a super relaxed vibe. We would recommend an ocean view room. Overall good value for money making sure we could still afford boat trips etc as very much used it as a base to go out and about
Amazing service

The waves at Barbados was an unforgettable experience for me and my family and I loved every second of it. We were immediately greeted with warmth and kindness as the service continued throughout the entire resort. Specifically, I would like to highlight Ether (the breakfast chef) and her amazing cooking/ kindness towards all the guests. This made my breakfast the highlight of my day as I was greeted with her presence, it catapulted my mood into a forward state. I will be coming back!!!!
