Ricardo and alex from entertainment team was the best and made the experience 100 times better

We stayed at Dreams Playa Mujeres for a week in March. Family trip with 5 of us. We stayed in 2 ocean front swim out rooms side by side. One king room one double queen room with a pull out sofa. This is our third time visiting this resort and it did not disappoint. The resort is beautiful and the swim out rooms were fabulous! Food was good. Everyone found something at every restaurant. What made the trip extra special was the staff at the resort. They all work so very hard to make your stay enjoyable. Special shoutout to the pool concierge’s Alfredo and Alberto. Paul the bartender at the preferred club lounge, and Fernando and Fernando at the preferred area juice bar as well as Carlos the breakfast and lunch waiter at Maris restaurant and Jessica with the entertainment team.

The hotel was lovely, the rooms were very modern but unfortunately we spent far too much time in them as we were all very sick. This started on our third day and we hadn’t left the hotel, we had noticed how unbearably warm all of the pools were and the lack of hand sanitizers at the restaurants but it was too late and one by one we can down with sickness and diarrhoea. Towards the end of the holiday we were told by many families that had all experienced similar. Despite this if the hotel could confirm this was an isolated period of time and the issues had been sorted we would return to this Dreams hotel.

Wonderful experience. Even with colder temps two of the days was still wonderful. Everything high end. So many options of things to do. Our girls loved the teen club with games, arcade, climbing wall, archery. I had the best massage and lovely spa! Service was fantastic. Some days at the pools was slower mainly due to large groups but that’s to be expected. The pool chair game is no joke. Families up at 5-6 am claiming so have to be on it! The weddings could be tough with music going until 11:30-12 sometimes so tricky with kids trying to sleep but we put on sound machine so it’s okay. Special call out to Mickey. Made the trip so much better.

Huge Resort. Food not great. Lots of buffets. The extra activities feel like sales gimmicks. Say one price but you actually can pay half as much. Feels like I’m always being sold. Atmosphere is very spring break. Good spot for kids to run around in the big slide in and pool. Arcade. Encountered a few people that had stomach issues.
