Our stay at Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort was absolutely amazing! From the beautiful resort and relaxing atmosphere to the outstanding customer service, this trip exceeded our expectations. A huge special thank you to the entertainment staff — Tony, Alfonso, Alec, Alex, Jessica, Gustavo, and Ricardo — who made every day so much fun and truly unforgettable. Their energy, kindness, and ability to keep guests engaged created such a fun and welcoming environment throughout our stay. We also want to sincerely thank the concierge, the resort doctor, and all of the staff members who assisted my sister after she had a fall. The compassion, professionalism, and genuine care everyone showed during a stressful situation meant so much to our family. It truly showed the resort’s dedication to guest safety, comfort, and creating a positive experience. Everyone at the resort went above and beyond to make our vacation memorable. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness we received and cannot wait to come back again for another wonderful trip!

?Arrival & Transportation ?After a long travel day and a two-hour wait for luggage at the Cancun airport, we were relieved by how efficient the transport was. I was worried Nexus would take a long time, but they were incredibly fast and got us to the resort in no time! ?Room & Accommodations ?We stayed in Building 6, while our family was in Building 8. Initially, we were worried about being separated—mostly concerned that the grandparents might get lost—but it ended up working out perfectly. Our location was ideal; being on the first floor meant no elevators, and we were right next to the coffee shop, ice cream shop, and Tides restaurant. ?The rooms are starting to show their age. The flooring, in particular, had some nicks and bumps that seemed to trap dirt; there was one large spot that stayed there for the duration of our stay despite housekeeping. However, one specific housekeeper was absolutely incredible—I tried to find his name in the app messages, but unfortunately, I can no longer access them. ?Dining & Food ?The food was consistently delicious! We are a "steak and potatoes" kind of family, so we ended up at the Brazilian Steakhouse three nights in a row—it was so much fun. The Seafood Restaurant was also a hit because they offered non-seafood options for the rest of the group while my daughter and I got our seafood fix. ?A huge shout-out to Alfredo, our waiter at the Hibachi restaurant; he was hilarious, and the cook was very kind. The food there was amazing! ?Pool, Drinks, & Service ?Our favorite daily activity was hanging out by the pool and visiting the Mermaid swim-up bar. Nicholas (Niko) was the most amazing bartender—lots of flair and he truly cared about the taste and presentation of every drink. He is so mature and personable for his age; we’d honestly go back just to see him! ?Mario, the poolside waiter, was another standout who made sure we always had what we needed. We also loved the staff at the ice cream shop and Lilli at the morning buffet, who was always so smiley and happy. ?Entertainment & Atmosphere ?The nightly entertainment was top-notch. The Light Show and the Circus were my favorites—the performers are incredibly talented. We also loved the energy from the weddings held on-site. The staff's ability to set up and tear down those beautiful events every day was impressive. You can hear the wedding music until 10:00 PM or 11:00 PM throughout the buildings; we loved it and I found myself dancing back to my room, though light sleepers should take note. ?Final Thoughts ?The resort is beautifully spread out, so we never felt like we were on top of each other. We visited the slides and the kids' area once, though the mosquitoes were quite a bit worse in that specific area. If we return, we would definitely consider the Preferred Club just for the Bali beds. ?Overall, we had a blast. The resort is lovely, but the hardworking staff are truly what made this trip special!

Beautiful resort , had a good night club Alton’s was pretty quiet being a family resort . Food was great , ate 2-3 meals ever time I went for a meal hahah . Room service was great if you used the app and pre ordered your breakfast and other stuff . Nice beach , really cool having dolphins right at the resort .

We just returned from a 10-night stay at Dreams Playa Mujeres, and I can confidently say this was one of the best family vacations we’ve ever had. The resort itself is beautiful, the food was consistently excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for both relaxation and family time—but what truly made this trip unforgettable was the people. A very special thank you to Jorge, our pool attendant, who absolutely elevated our entire experience. Every single day, Jorge went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. He always helped us find the perfect chairs with the perfect shade, checked in on us regularly, and made sure everything around us ran smoothly. His attention to detail and genuine care didn’t go unnoticed—not just by us, but by our entire family. He played a huge role in making this trip feel effortless and first-class. Equally outstanding was Herbeth, our poolside server. This guy is a total pro. Drinks were always flowing, service was fast and friendly, and he somehow managed to be everywhere at once without ever feeling rushed. He brought a great energy every day and made lounging by the pool that much more enjoyable. We also want to give a big shoutout to Gustavo and Jessica from the entertainment team. Gustavo especially went out of his way to make our 4-year-old daughter feel included and part of the fun, which meant a lot to us as parents. Those little moments make a huge difference on a family trip. The resort itself checks all the boxes—great pools, beautiful beach, solid dining options, and no need for restaurant reservations which we really appreciated. But it’s the people who take it to another level. If management is reading this: Jorge and Herbeth are absolute rockstars. They represent your resort at the highest level and deserve recognition for the experience they deliver. We’ll definitely be back.
