Amazing stay for 2 under 2

We stayed for 10 days from 4th December-14th December. This resort did not disappoint! This was the first time ever travelling with our 2 boys (2years of age and 9months) and this resort did everything right in our eyes. Our check in was quick and efficient and a cot was brought to our room. The room was large and spacious which was fab for relaxing in! The food was fantastic for us with gaucho and tides being our personal favourites. We were always able to find something that our kids would eat which was a big relief for me as an anxious mummy. Drinks were brilliant and we were always asked by members of staff if sitting if we required anything. Had no issues our entire stay with “sunbed wars” or anything similar and actually have to comment on how brilliant the activity pool were for checking in if the sound was too loud etc. Also it was lovely as a breastfeeding mummy that I felt fully comfortable being able to breastfeed everywhere in the resort including in restaurants and sun loungers. We were able to always get our boys asleep in the pram which shows again the resort is not too loud as our 2year old at times needs a lot of convincing with naps lol. Only negative of the entire trip was we forgot to pack swim shoes which definitely are a must especially if your wee ones want to use the water slides. I highly recommend this resort and we are already considering coming back next year!
Great Holliday resort

This was a real gamble of a holiday. It paid of in bucket loads and renewed my interest in travelling with kids whole heartedly. For context, we've never travelled with our kids. One is just over two and the other just hit 9 months. My wife picked the resort as it had good reviews for a family with young kids and she'd researched it within an inch of its life. It was well worth the 11.5 hour plane flight from Ireland. The trip was only good as a result of the quality of the resort and the attentiveness of the whole staff team. It felt five star. The resort felt like it had plenty to keep us and the kids occupied. We loved the kids slides and beach. We had no issues getting the boys to sleep in their pram and walked them around the resort no part was ever too loud. We spent a good chunk of our time at the activity pool too the boys loved seeing the entertainment staff working their magic. Thank you kindly Daniel the omelette staff member those were so tasty we all had one nearly every morning. The restaurants are all great, they have kids menu bits for the young ones. If you have fussy kids they work a charm. Our boys genuinely ate better here than they do at home. There was always something for them. Seeing some of the weddings were lovely and generally everyone was great we asked for a few things throughout the stay like extra drinks for the boys in our mini fridge etc nothing was ever amy trouble. We stayed 10 days and are considering coming back to the same resort next year at the same time in December due to the great experience. Thank you.
Service Disorganization affected our stay

For the price you pay, much better efficiency and accountability are expected. Unfortynately, our experience at Dreams Playa Mujeres was negatively affected by the hotel's lack of organization. At check out, and additional $270 charge appeared that we had not made, yet they still took 40 minutes just to accept my card as a guarantee. Although they eventually acknowledge the charge was their mistake, they did not take responsibility for the extra transportation costs of the inconveniences their error caused, which very frustrating, especially when traveling with children.
Relaxing resort with outstanding service

My sister and I traveled once again to Dreams Playa Mujeres in November. We’ve stayed at this resort a number of times and every stay is better than the last! Service throughout the property is simply the best. Friendly faces everywhere. Loads of activities presented by the friendly, fun-loving entertainment team occur throughout the day. The entertainment team: Memo, Carlos, Jessica, Bryan, Sebastian, Carlos, Ricardo, Gustavo and Felix kept everyone busy having fun! You can stretch with morning yoga classes. Join in with games in the pools and on the beach from volleyball, water polo, water aerobics, to soccer. We had fun making “wish” bracelets and painting hats. While enjoying the sun and the water we really enjoyed the music of a sax player, a violinist and a couple of bands that played near the pool. The nightly shows were a hit for everyone. The guests we met were delightful to spend time with. Lots of wedding folks! It’s a great venue for weddings. Each evening music in the lobby bar was very enjoyable. We had a terrific time dancing and meeting people from across the world. Our spacious room on the 4th floor included a private balcony and a large balcony overlooking the grounds shared with 7 other rooms. It would be perfect for a group! America at the Front Desk checked us in and instantly became our friend. She is oh so special! She made us feel like the only guests at the resort! Hyatt is fortunate to have her on staff! Dylan from the Front Desk is so friendly, as well. We did not have to wait for a table at the restaurants. At the World Cafe each morning, Erik and his partner Alex greeted us so graciously and recalled our beverage order. Service with a smile. Sebastian was our friendly waiter in L’Etoile. Josue in Maris was so friendly and very fun as our server. And we learned Rames in Maris is a marvelous mixologist. We’ll be going back soon.
