Great location and value

kinoxl (annapolis, md) on Nov 29, 2024

The lobby is open and welcoming with plenty of seating. They have a game room with TV's nearby as well. The location cant be beat. 50' from Kuhio beach, which is less crowded than Waikiki. There's good snorkeling by the pier. More importantly, green space to the left of the hotel by the zoo. If you walk to the left, you'll find numerous green spaces with trees, chickens and birds. Seems a world away from Waikiki. The pool overlooks the ocean and is a nice place to relax. Our room didnt have hot water upon arrival, but they fixed it the next day. The rooms are dated, but we didnt spend much time there. The staff was helpful and utilized text messaging for any concerns. The amenities included with the resort were nice as well. Attached to the hotel are Starbucks, ABC store and a small restaurant.

Great stay at the Park Shore

ellenbR4096MW (Hortonville, Wisconsin) on Nov 27, 2024

My husband and I just had a delightful stay at the Park Shore Waikiki. We love this hotel, having stayed there many times starting in the early 2000’s. First and foremost their customer service is without peer. From our check-in to check-out everyone is helpful and friendly. Whether it’s information about Waikiki, restaurants, reservations, attractions, etc., guest services wants to make sure you are served very well! We didn’t need our room serviced, but we did request more coffee, which was provided daily, yea! The location and views are excellent! The location is the absolute best on Waikiki, right across from the beach, the zoo, and just a short distance from the aquarium. The view from our room & balcony was magnificent. We could see both Diamond Head and the ocean, wonderful! The lobby is cool modern, rooms are functional and very clean. I LOVE the lion coffee and Keurig coffee makers in the rooms. It’s also nice to have the refrigerator & microwave for reheating leftovers. There are 2 restaurants on site, Yoshitsune and Lulu’s. We enjoyed dining at both of them. Yoshitsune is a very traditional Japanese restaurant, with excellent food. We enjoyed both our Japanese breakfasts and dinners, primarily seafood. We also enjoyed our dinners at Lulu’s, food and service were both exceptional, as was the entertainment. One area for improvement would be to freshen up the 2nd & 3rd floor areas (including the pool), which are looking a little careworn. If we’re lucky enough to return to Honolulu, we’ll definitely stay here again!
