Horrible Stay

We were there from July 8th to July 13th and the room we had was on ground floor. The room was very dated and maintenance in this place horrible. The air conditioner leaked every day and every time we called for service, they would come and just clean up the water. At one point we slipped on the floor from the leaking air conditioner as next day same thing would happen. The real issue was to to gas up the air conditioner but their fix was just clean up the water. The room wasn't cooling off at all. The other problem we had was crabs would get into the room from the gap at the door. Every night we had to look out for crabs. What a horrible experience to have to stress about these things coming in through the door. They never offered us to switch rooms. My niece and nephew's room had water going under the bed with rust on it which is a safety hazard. It was from the air conditioner and we complained but never switched my niece and nephew to another room. Also some of the employees that work at restaurant didn't even care to to check on who needs water or set the tables properly. Always had issue with fork and knife and napkins not on table and we always had to call someone to do this. We complained a couple of times and they took down the complaint but never fixed these issued. The manager in charge said she would give us some money back as they realized these rooms should have been closed back. Well we never heard back and never got any money back. To me , this place is about just taking in guests and get the money but don't care about maintenance and fixing the issues. Not worth staying at this place as they don't care about your stay.
Fantastic 2 week stay

We are a family of 4 2 adults and 2children aged 12 yrs and 16yrs. We travelled from the uk and spent 2 weeks at this hotel. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel and facilities were clean. The toilets by the poolside were always clean whenever I used them and you could see they had been freshly cleaned several times during the day. Massive thanks to their team of cleaners as they often get over looked. We found the choice of food never ending and would always find something we would like to eat. The chef on the egg station during the mornings was amazing making me my daily omelette. There was never a time we had to wait for food to be restocked. The food was always warm too. There are 2 restaurants on site the Italian and the Japanese which were good too. The only thing I would mention is that in the Japanese restaurant where the chef is cooking in front of you, could do with interacting more with the guests. We have been to several of these types of restaurants and the chef has always spoken to their guests and made a big show of the cooking. We loved seeing all the wildlife around the resort. The howler monkeys, the raccoons, the lizard (whilst we were there 1 of the big lizards took a swim in the pool.) the crabs, the beautiful birds all added to the holiday experience. Our room was plenty big enough for the 4 of us and was cleaned daily. It had a fridge in the room which was stocked daily with drinks. The location of the hotel was great. We were right on the beach and would take a morning stroll down the beach. There are a couple of restaurants outside the hotel within walking distance a pizza restaurant and an Indian one. We visited both and had great meals there. It’s a short taxi drive to the town which we did a couple of times. You could walk into town and would take probably 20/25mins but I didn’t want to get hot and sweaty lol. We would definitely visit this hotel again
