Horrible stay
BeachMama8 (Santa Barbara, Calif.) on Sep 20, 2023
Rooms are outdated and rundown. Hallways are very dark and dreary. Carpeting is ancient. Needs massive work and better management of employees. Left some things behind in the safe that is very important and the security team acted helpless and powerless to retrieve the items. Stay at the Grand Wailea in Maui or somewhere else. Beach currents and waves are very dangerous so be prepared to get a shuttle or drive to a crowded beach that is not as pretty.
Excellent stay

Traveling with my partner (we are in our 30’s, gay men). The hotel is very family oriented so lots of children and families and lovely that there was a pretty large adult only pool area. Grounds are beautiful. The beach out front is also stunning and most of the time when we were there we were the only ones on it. Excellent hiking trail that starts from the beach the resort is on. Tidepools was excellent. We were able to stay with points. The cash cost of our stay would have been a stretch and I’m not sure I would have picked the hotel if paying $1,000+ a night for a pretty standard room.
