You may like it, but you’ll probably have some complaints

Overpriced. Watch out for all the hidden fees at checkout. Kitchenettes are seriously lacking many things like dishes for example. All towels smell like chemicals. Housekeeping does the bare minimum and we had to keep asking for toilet paper. Food service got my daughter’s $25 nacho order wrong FOUR times. It was just cheese on chips. How do you screw that up? The one guy working there smiled the whole time in a mocking way like I was being punk’d. The other guy tried to make things right but there seemed to be a real communication issue about what nachos are. Breakfast was gross and my kids didn’t want to eat it. The eggs were like instant eggs. Very disorganized with people putting their hands everyone and scrambling all over the place. Security is a joke and just sits around on their phones. I got harassed by some drunk women on the pool deck, moving my kids’ stuff when we were waiting for our food order. Yelling at me and trying to bully me out of the fire table. Thankfully I can stand my ground but where was the two security guards then? Eating snacks and staring at their phones. That being said, my kids loved the pool area. It was appreciated after long days at the parks. However, it is not as big as they make it look in photos and it’s open to the paying public, not just hotel guests. The room was nice to come back to as well because it felt clean and comfortable. Dual showers are great for two kids needing to get the intense chlorine off at the same time. For a newer hotel many things have already broken like the closet doors and some laundry machines for example. Room keys for elevators worked half the time. Service was pretty meh. Some staff were better than others. This hotel is far from the parks and the Toy Story lot. We tried to walk to the Toy Story lot the first day and it was really long. So we ended up Ubering back and forth multiple times a day, which adds up. You may like it here, you will probably find some faults. Not sure or I recommend it or not. Maybe if you receive an excellent deal. Oh and very dangerous!! My daughter leaned against a pillar at the front entrance that was at least 100 pounds and it fell over!! Thankfully she wasn’t hurt but if it landed on her it would have been a hospital trip for sure. Staff did not care when we told them and other guests helped us move it over to the side of the hotel.

We had a great visit to Disneyland with the grandkids and highly recommend the Cambria Hotel in Anaheim. We would definitely stay here again. Elizabeth was very helpful and friendly and took care of us and helped get us to the park as soon as possible.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. Amanda went above and beyond to make my daughter ls birthday special. My only complaint was that my daughter could go on the slides beaucsd she wasn't 48 inches tall. I don't rember this being listed on the site but I could be wrong
Awesome hotel

The staff were very helpful and the rooms were always spotless. The staff would make always make sure the rooms were stocked for our return from the theme park with fresh towels and amenities. The stay was very awesome experience with water park as a back up option for fun.
Budget family hotel for Disneyland
belindab550 (Adelaide, Australia) on May 03, 2025
We stayed at the Cambria hotel for 6 days for our trip to Disneyland. Overall the hotel suited it's purpose a budget family friendly hotel but if you're looking for something more than that this is not the hotel for you. The rooms were spacious and we were on the top floor with a fantastic view of the park at night to watch the fireworks from our beds and loungeroom. The carpet between the tiled areas and carpet rooms have little tacks sticking up through the carpet (the number of times i got one in my toe was ridiculous). Very dangerous for the kids so they had to wear shoes at all times. Air conditioning worked great, beds were comfy but the pillows were awful (lumpy and very small). Not sure if it's due to the fact we were on the top floor but there was no ceiling lighting in the bedroom or loungeroom areas (very dark rooms at night and hard to see what your doing). Staff - check in staff and those at front reception were lovely, greeted with a smile. Pool - security was overkill and the pool was soooo busy there was literally no room in the pools. It does get cold in the area in the late afternoons with the wind coming straight through the fences. we ordered food inside to eat by the pool and i have no idea where it was made but it was awful - do yourself a favour and don't order the hot chips. Buffet Breakfast - I'm not sure what to say but YUCK, it was awful. Muffins were dry and just awful, hot choices of scrambled eggs and i assume you would call it a sausage were terrible, the handmade micky waffles were the only thing half decent. The staff on the door were like prison staff barking orders. I had an autistic son who couldn't sit in the restaurant area and i needed to go up to the room with him they wouldn't let me leave with my breakfast without transferring it to another plate and different cutlery. I'm a paying guest who has already paid for the room i'm not stealing a single plate and fork. We ended up getting an Uber after the 2nd day to Denny's and McDonalds for breakfast that were opposite the Toy Story parking lot for the trip to Disneyland (much better, tastier and no one barking orders at you). Outside restaurants - We tried most of the restaurants in the surrounding area of the parking lot - all were pretty good and had many options. Rooms were cleaned daily and left tidy. Beds were made up each day and new towels provided. Our biggest issues with this hotel was the terrible buffet breakfast, poor lighting in room and the really low water pressure in the shower (pressure wasn't even enough to wash the shampoo out of your hair. Filling the bath if you have a little one took us over 30 minutes and even then it wasn't more than half full - we gave up.
