Beyond Expectations!!

For our 10th anniversary my husband and I decided to visit LA for a Rams game this season. We stayed at this hotel just for one night before flying to Hawaii. The location is perfect, you can walk to the city bus terminal then connect to anywhere in LA very convenient. There’s fast food spots around that you can walk to restaurants inside the hotel can be pricey sometimes. The sushi is something to wait for, they open at 4 PM each day. Just delicious. If you’re flying out, they have parking as well self or valet even if you don’t stay at the hotel, no reservations needed $26 for self parking vs valet $33 per day NO IN&OUT!! They usually have three shuttle drivers running every 20 minutes apart from each other running 24 hours a day. Just don’t expect too much from the shuttle drivers. Which reminds me, you can’t use their luggage carts when you’re checking in, but they do have a “Bellman” that can assist you. We were frustrated because getting off the shuttle w luggage and kids is not the easiest thing to do. You would think that the Bellman that is looking straight at us to our face would even offered to point to the direction of the front desk. NOPE!!! On a Friday morning 9am, but just decided to continue his conversation with his buddy next week. That’s not what I call. Hospitality, Eric! smh …other than that and the rooms being outdated, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Before I forget, special thanks to the managers that saved this stay for us. Alex (FD). Jose Vargas & Jona(valet) thank you for helping my dad w his truck. You guys went beyond expectations!

The location for this hotel is okay, no free parking. Self is $50/$60 valet. Plus Tax!!!! Staff is nice, the rooms are too old but they are renovating, at the moment it was only one elevator work smh smh smh unexpected!!!!!!! Luckily we didn’t have to catch a flight, the food over priced but the sushi is bomb. Com! Yal!!!!! Yal folks have to try this damn thing delicious!!! My family will be back when the renovation is done! Thank you guys for everything thank you jose Vargas for the tours, also jona & Johnny in valet. Dep so kind. LY-L.A. Go Dodgers!!!

Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Valet staff, Johnny and Jonathan, were very helpful when we first got to the hotel. They informed us about parking fees and helped us with our luggage, because of their kindness we decided to use their valet services, thank you gentlemen!

Where do I start, I been coming to this place since 2012 don’t judge pls! Lol My company and friends always loved staying here the customer is what keeps us here! Back in the days it was C.P. Now it has a new name but with the same great ppl. Nothing is perfect but they are working on the renovation. New and faster elevators!! About time!!!!!!!! Also need faster and happier bellman except for the young dudes there they don’t show you that they hate their jobs, like the other old bellman I forgot his name. Anyways I promise Edith, of course Sandy, Alex ….. oh! -Valet Dep they are part of our Eagle R. Family! Since day amazing ppl. Thank you Ermia t. Maria(my fav Carmen .) Johnny And the managers Jose & Jona. I see what you guys do everyday! God bless!
Not repeating my stay

Thought I had a great deal on this stay and was saving money compared to other nearby 4-star hotels. That was definitely misleading First the positives. The location is pretty nice for quick airport shuttling. The breakfast buffet was also very good and the waiters welcoming and kind. The rooms were decent and the daily cleanings were great The bad however. Starting with the extremely slow and dangerous elevators. One of them was walked off and out of service, the remaining were very slow and dangerous due to the door sensors being seemingly nonexistent. I almost watched someone’s loved one get crushed in the elevator door before they were pulled back last second, with the door not stopping despite it not even being half closed. Early check-in was about $50+. This wouldn’t be an issue but the room I was assigned was occupied and the key didn’t work, so I had to take all my luggage back downstairs again and deal with the long elevators to get a new room The most egregious issue are the resort fees. I’ve stayed at most of the hotels in the area as I travel in/out of LAX often. I will not be repeating my Sonesta stay. Daily resort fee of $29? For people booking through a 3rd party app believing they found a great deal, you’re better off paying the extra elsewhere because you WILL be paying more than you think here
