Terrible manager and attendants in the lobby and breakfast area

Terrible service with the manager and in breakfast area. I waked up at 09:30 am and going to the breakfast area. When I arrived the attendant told me that I need to wait 1 hour and half to seat. I saw there have a lot of tables available to use, I question the attendant again and she didn’t say anything and go. After I go to the lobby and talk with the attendant there and told her that I would like to talk with the manager, but he didn’t talk with me, although he was in the lobby (the manage i don’t know the name, have a Japanese face). Terrible service with the manager. If I need to wait 1hour and a half I don’t take breakfast, I have lunch. I really know that the Marriot have best services and today it’s terrible

Loved our stay

Stayed here for 4 night at the end of our American holiday. Highly recommend the hotel. Looks great from the outside, really relaxing on the inside. Friendly staff. Large rooms with stunning views over LA. There's a pool, outdoor area, bar, restaurant, gift/essentials shop inside. Great visit

Iconic hotel in downtown LA

As a kid of the 80s, I remember this hotel from a number of movies of the era. It's been nicely renovated and has the Westin brand standards in the room. Getting to it was a bit difficult as the entrance was on a different level than I expected. Plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood, typical downtown LA. The coffee shop got really busy in the morning! Good place to stay.

Bed Bug Claim

BEWARE... My Family and I stayed 4 nights at the hotel. My son slept in a roll away bed, All seemed to be well, however, upon arriving home my son starting itching and noticed multiple bug bites on his leg and ankles and feet. I called the hotel, reported a bed bug incident and claim was filed including photos of the bites with the hotel insurance company. We spent the next few days disinfecting our home, bedding and suitcases. A few days later the hotel security manager informed me that they had an inspector and sniffing dogs come and inspect the room and "all the roll away beds" and their findings were "negative". I am highly skeptical as the bites stopped when we arrived home! It has been 3 business days since this phone call, I contacted the insurance company who informed that they have yet not received the reports from inspector and will contact me with their findings. With all this being said there has been NO CONTACT from hotel management. I understand not hotel is risk free, but there seems to be no regard for customer concerns/experience. I waited to post a review to allow hotel management to contact me but have heard nothing.

Stayed here to go to to a Dodger's game. The location for that was great. We took a cab to the game. Uber has to park a long ways from the stadium. The location for the game was great plus inside parking. Hotel was nice and clen and room was fine nice view of downtown.
