Great location

sayantanidutta9 (Kolkata (Calcutta), India) on Mar 01, 2026

I had a disappointing stay at this hotel. While the location is convenient, the service and cleanliness fell short of expectations. Upon check-in, our first room had not been properly cleaned - the bed had stains and was unclean. The staff did move us to another room, which was in better condition. However, housekeeping did not service our room during our entire stay, despite my specific request for cleaning. The staff seemed overwhelmed and weren't as helpful as I would have hoped. I understand hotels face challenges, but basic cleanliness and room maintenance are essential for guest comfort. The location remains the hotel's strongest asset, but I hope management can address these service issues to improve the guest experience.

Simply the best hotel experience!

Nadine G on Feb 21, 2026

This hotel was not only beautiful it has the most beautiful humans running it! The staff is beyond amazing and they all said they loved what their job. One by one they would greet us as if they have known us for years. The food was incredible and the room was impeccable. The best part was feeling like you were part of their big family. It all stems from the top and we were lucky to have met their leader who makes them all feel important. He was seated next to us having dinner with his lovely wife. He took the time to tell us all about the history of the hotel. He shook our hands and said if we needed anything to reach out to him through any of his amazing staff members. This is a hotel you need to experience. Must visit their revolving bar upstairs and enjoy the lights of the city. We will be back!

The beds, come just for the beds!

Laura F (Gold Coast, Australia) on Feb 13, 2026

I couldn’t love this hotel any more if I tried!! It’s so amazing!! They have a 24 hour cafe serving food and Starbucks coffee! Which I LOVE!! And the lift pops out the roof of the building just like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! SO cool! But the beds/bedding!!! OMG! Heavenly bed is an appropriate title!! Loved it and didn’t want to get up!! We came to watch the Lakers play, it’s a bit of a walk, around 30 minutes. And there really isn’t much around the hotel to do. But the beds!! OMG! My only negative would be the ladies in the gift shop. Unpleasant is a kind way of putting it but don’t you dare try to come in when they are having their lunch break! But I can overlook that because everything else was SO good!

Bonaventure Los Angeles

UnitedStateswinner (Miami, Florida) on Jan 23, 2026

This is a beautiful hotel that hosts a variety of international guests. My favorite for a cocktail or sip of wine. Go to the very top of the hotel. The restaurant bar serves cocktails and appetizers while rotating a full circle once an hour. You can view all of Los Angeles on a clear day.

WAY TO GO!

TYsadventures22 (Brooklyn, New York) on Jan 18, 2026

Wow—what a fantastic 10 days! Accessibility done right. From the moment I arrived, this stay felt thoughtfully designed and refreshingly easy. The location is close to DTLA and incredibly convenient—just steps from the 5th Street and 7th Street Metro stations, with easy access to the 16, 18, 20, and 720 bus lines. The hotel itself is massive, with multiple meeting and special-event spaces, and is divided into clearly color-coded towers. I stayed in the Red Tower. Dining options ranged from high-end, upscale restaurants on property to a quick 10-minute walk for more affordable choices—and some of the best Mexican street food around. Options, choices, and flavor everywhere. My room—3141—was absolutely on point. This is where most hotels fail, but not here. Accessibility was clearly considered by design, not as an afterthought. Everything was within wheelchair reach: shower wand, towels, controls, amenities—all at the correct height, with plenty of well-placed safety bars. Hotels everywhere should come here and take notes. The bed was perfectly fluffy and comfortable, with ample wall outlets and a dedicated spot on the desk to charge my wheelchair—an underrated but critical detail. I requested a microwave and received one without hassle. The room already included a safe and mini refrigerator, both positioned at wheelchair level. Being on the 31st floor was heavenly—quiet, peaceful, and offering a great view. The staff truly elevated the experience. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming from day one through the end of my stay. The concierge was outstanding and ensured I could check in even though I arrived 10 hours early. As an elite member, she graciously waived the early arrival fee. The only downside was a $30-per-day destination charge that wasn’t clearly communicated verbally or on the website. That was frustrating, especially since I had no intention of using the $35 breakfast buffet or the spa. One unexpected daily highlight? An incredible food truck parked right out front each day, serving some of the best burritos, chips, and salsa I’ve had. And every single time I returned, the doormen remembered me and welcomed me back—it’s those small gestures that make a stay memorable. Accessibility, comfort, location, and genuine hospitality—this stay nailed it.
