Waterfront is a large, relatively new resort hotel on the Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach. The main problem with this place is they overcharge for everything. The hotel was empty yet they do not lower rates. God help you if you have a large family, after they shake you down you would barely have enough gas to get home. Exorbitant room rates Fees everywhere, resort fee, parking fee, high tax fee, 18% service charge on meals, overpriced food including breakfast at $45 per person, drink costs. They gouge you at every step of the way. Wouldn’t it be-nice if they gave you some discounts along the way, oh no they extract as much as the market will bare. The hotel rooms are like a high end Holiday Inn, shower curtains, cheap art, decent bedding and quiet, very few people around our floor. Employees are nice, hopefully management does not exploit them, all polite and some older. The Pacific is a long walk across the PCH and crawling with people and surf shops. It would be nice to walk away with a good feeling about this hotel, when they take advantage of guests like this any positive feelings are gone. Be ware of this post covid world. Merchants and small business raise prices with glee and laugh all the way to their bank.

What a wonderful staff! Great service all around but Molly takes the cake with her hospitality and care. Next level! The entire valet staff (especially Mike, Evan, Tony and Aaron) were fantastic and efficient. Can’t wait to be back.

Our stay at The Waterfront Beach Resort (Hilton) in Huntington Beach was exceptional. The location, decor, accommodations and amenities were perfection. But the icing on the cake was the fabulous and detail-oriented service: Jasmine at the front desk provided exceptional customer service, she was kind and professional and helpful, especially when we needed to find a local urgent care for our young adult daughter who was sick. Delia in housekeeping was delightful and made sure we had extra linens and pillows and waters and tea for our sick daughter. Her smile was such a comfort. Julio and all the team at In-Room Dining were also kind and professional and very caring, making sure we had all that we needed for our stay and the right food for our sick daughter. Chez Brown was very helpful at checkout and corrected our bill with a smile! The service was definitely the highlight of our wonderful stay (despite our daughter being sick part of the time).

Kyle, it is the valet parking manager at the Waterfront Hilton. When my family and I pulled up in our 11 foot tall Sprinter van I was a little worried that a valet driver might forget that the clearance on this vehicle is not normal. Kyle could tell I was a little stressed about it, and he assured me that he would park it personally in a spot that had plenty of clearance. It probably took a little more time out of his day, but I appreciated him going the extra mile. Believe it or not, in the same day, My Youngest Daughter, Millie left her favorite stuffed animal in the backseat of the sprinter van. I thought she was being a little dramatic with the tears when we were up to our room after she couldn’t find it. She said she remembered that she left it in the backseat of the van. Naturally, I wondered how she could remember so clearly that she left it in the backseat, but also forgot to bring it up to the room, but I knew I had to go down and get it. I actually think the same exact thing happened last year when we stayed at this great hotel on Christmas night. Tyler in the valet was nice enough to walk me to my car and make sure we found the stuffed animal. Tyler is a native from Huntington Beach and actually grew up not far from where I grew up off of Lake and Yorktown. These guys made sure we were all taken care of, and I appreciated them going the extra mile!

I had a great experience at the Waterfront Beach Resort as the service was spectacular. Valet was on it and I want to specifically thank Tyler Hayes for his excellent service.
