Bad hotel, managers , room service, and the room was not cleaned properly.

This hotel, the older tower, is filthy. I checked in to a toilet with poop stains and black pubic hairs. I immediately called the front desk to have it cleaned. Then I ordered an 100 dollar bottle of champagne to be delivered to my room, so I could have some before I met my friends down at Cabo Wabo. Well they arrived sooner then expected so when the champagne got here I asked the gentleman to pour me a glass and re-cork it so I could enjoy it the following day. We both left the room, I thought it was re-corked. Well it wasn’t , had I known it wasn’t , I would have taken the champagne with me down to Cabo wabo to enjoy with my friends. Needless to say, it went to waste. I didn’t realize until I got back late at night. Went to bed. Woke up and ordered room service. Got my sunny side up eggs, and there was a very obvious large black hair right in the middle of the egg yolk. Absolutely disgusting and at this point I had enough. I made calls and no one ever apologized or seems to care. I’m still here waiting to call the manager. There is NO customer service here. They so far have been rude. The room is disgusting and this hotel is a health hazard. My safe also works, then doesn’t. It’s just ridiculous. I will continue to post and keep everything updated. I also took pictures of everything and will post on yelp and this site plus others.

Top notch experience

I enjoyed this hotel. It is modern, has plenty of room, good pools and access to the beach. Also walking distance from local restaurants. The staff is good. Yes, on premise food, parking, and amenities are expensive but if you are staying on the resort, you pay a bit more. I have also stayed at the nearby Hyatt. It is a bit more "California" but older. I prefer the Hilton. Had a great dinner the night we arrived by the pool.

I just don’t get it

Arrived, booked a stay on points. Two queens, partial ocean view. Upgraded to accessible room with partial view, and they have a lot of other amazing rooms still available. Amenities card provided explaining what you get with resort fee. Pool, discounts, wifi, beach wagons and chairs. Front desk at check in states, it costs. I talk to beach workers later in evening, reserve my spot is necessary. I chat on message with front desk, and ask if there are fees or complimentary. “Go to waterfront and they will assist you.” “Thank you, is there a cost?” You would be able to rent chairs or can get some small chairs from pool first come first serve. Trying to finish and enjoy the night. Pool, was fun, my daughters liked it. One hot tub full of chlorine fumes, the other was great. Security workers were super friendly and pleasant. Cabo Wabo, mixed feelings overall. Love the food! Cabo Wabo accepted an order that I picked up. Wouldn’t take a second order, only order through bar. And then people dining at tables eating Cabo Wabo food. Clearly I just don’t get it. But I’m completely unimpressed.

Amazing valet parking experience

My review is for Tyler Hyde. He works for the valet service for the hotel. The business for the hotel service is Ace Parking. Tyler went way beyond his duties by helping me get my car parked and all of my things up to my room on a very late night back to the hotel after a day of fun. Thank you, Tyler! You're going to go a long way in life with that work ethic of yours!!

We just returned from a short stay and we plan to return. In every instance staff were attentive, polite and gracious. In one instance a manager met us in the hallway, asked if we needed help, answered our question and volunteered to return our pool towels (we were stopping there first) for us. We borrowed beach gear and enjoyed it at the beach. The pools were clean, a comfortable temperature and the hotel was clean as well. Our meals eaten on site were good. I read a few of the one star reviews and had to ask myself if these people stayed at the same hotel I did. Oh, the slides in the family pool are open from fairly early in the morning (9 or 10) to 5 pm and they are staffed with lifeguards. It is a little pricey, but not out of line with comparable properties and the location was great.
