We have been staying at the Marina Fiesta for many years. Its location is the best for best for being able to walk to just about any place - to town, to the beach, around the marina. At the restaurants in the Golden Zone, the variety and options are plentiful. The service around the pool is top notch (Jennifer, Irma, Jerson, Rosario). Hugo was fun with the pool activities.

We’ve been coming to Marina since 2013. We booked a 1-bedroom Nautical suite (first time in this room), it wasn’t ready but good news they do give you your room key/AI bracelet at check in which is very nice. We know the drill, after check-in your shuffled over to the time share person to get a drink, go over the amenities, how to make reservations, and you need to go to Hacienda Enchante for a tour. The spin this time was that Marina was overbooked and they wanted me to move to Hacienda and told me they would upgrade our room. We declined multiple times to the tour and relocation. We booked MF for a reason, the location within walking distance to downtown/beach. LEGENDS: At this point, with the room not ready we needed to settle into the Sports bar and get primed to watch our Chiefs at Legends but they didn’t open until 1pm on Football Sunday! The game started at 1:25! Oh, the stress. We were at the door anxiously waiting for it to open, Monica welcomed us, and set up the TV with the game, it was stressful as the one TV we were watching would go off/on so she put it on another TV that was actually ahead of the other. LOL. GYM: Argh this gym opens at 8am! I’m an early riser and this was disappointing. When asked about it, was told there were complaints from the surrounding rooms that the noise started so early. So, I got my cardio by walking around the marina and beach. Not a bad compromise. POOL: The pool bar bartender was over worked, understaffed. Was unsure why there weren’t two bartenders at the Pool, really needed a lower-level bartender to assist those at the swim up bar. One day there weren’t any lounges at the main pool! Never seen that happen. We then found a lounge at the marina view pool, without an umbrella unfortunately. Definitely prefer shade relief from the Hot Cabo sun. The very next day, the staff enforced not saving lounges as we saw towels and stuff removed from lounges that were vacant 1 hour. We went to the Pool for lunch and a drink, I approached the Pool bar as the supervisor (assuming) was keying in receipts, she looked up giving me a nasty look and a pool server quickly approached and with a short tone told me to order drinks from the bartender. Awkward rude interaction. A better experience would have been the server offering to take my order or signage directing people to ORDER DRINK HERE. Oh well, I survived. LOL. During the week the maintenance crew worked on pool deck rocks around the pool blocking off lounge areas, during prime time 11a-3p while using a terrible varnish smelling product! ROOM: One bedroom Master Nautical suite with marina/pool decks from the living room and bedroom. It was a great room, we truly loved it. Disappointed there wasn’t dish soap in the kitchen area and no robes. The space and two bathrooms were much appreciated, it’s nice to have SPACE! Definitely will book again if we return. FOOD: Terrific hamburgers, Chicken sandwiches, Nachos at the Pool, Legends, and Jack’s. We ate at Jack’s once and really enjoyed the food. Legend’s is the only restaurant you can eat dinner without a reservation, in the past we’ve been able to walk up and get admitted without a reservation but they were strict during this stay and wouldn’t allow it. SKY BAR: Only open one night (Tues) during our 3-night stay. We loved the SKY BAR and the views. What was even cooler – our room was steps to the bar! We were told live music would start Wednesday-Saturday – dang again we missed it. SERVICE: Shout out to the Staff, always accommodating. Thank you, Jennifer Alexandra, for taking care of our drinks at the pool and breakfast, terrific service! Fredy thank you for working so very hard making everyone’s drinks. You are super-fast! Thank you, Irma, for taking care of us at breakfast! We’ve been coming to Marina Fiesta for over a decade and continue to return because of the location. Thank you, Marina Fiesta, for a great overall stay!
