Overall, this is a nice hotel on the boardwalk on the marina. It's centrally located in town, clean, with friendly staff. One day at the pool, it appeared the filters may not have been working properly, the pool was not clean. We said something to Pablo, our server at the pool, who immediately went to work to address the problem. We left the resort that day, but the next morning, it was obvious the had been cleaned and a staff member was actively cleaning the pool too.
Shoutout to the excellent staff that served us poolside - Pablo, Alfredo, and Fidel! Excellent service, great drinks, and very attentive !! Thank you!
Few issues but overall good stay, 10 days.

I booked in April for a August trip. Reserved the same type of room we had last November. I even talked to Tesoro 3 times on the phone before we arrived trying to get the same room we stayed in November. When I arrived I was told I had not reserved that type of room and was shown a room in a different building with a different view. I did not like that room and wanted marina side over the pool. I was charged $300 for an upgrade. I spoke with a manager the next morning and explained my displeasure. She told me that the room reservation process had changed and even though I booked a Junior Suite Marina it was now changed names in the reservation process and not the same room I booked. I told her I had called on 3 occasions before we arrived. Supposedly on those calls they entered notes to my requests in my reservation. She eventually offered to refund the $300 , but said it may take up to 20 days to get the refund. I agreed and said that is fine. It now has been over a month since and I still have not received the $300 refund.
We did get trapped in the elevator on the first day. The hotel has a brand new card system. We were instructed by the bell hop that took us to the room we had to scan the card in the elevator to go up to the room floor on the elevator, but not to go down. Well we went down and the doors would not open. It was very hot when we were there. I tried to open the doors, tried the floor buttons, tried calling the front desk on my phone but no signal in the elevator. Finally what seemed like alot longer than it probably was, pressed the Emergency button in the elevator and a Security guard opened the doors from the outside. I explained what happened to the Manager when I talked to her about the upgrade charge and she explained you have to scan the room card to go down as well. Well it will go down, but the doors will not open. I told her to educate the bell hops because I specifically asked that question and he said it was not required to go down, just up to the room floor. We had taken the elevator several times without any problems before that happened. The other elevator in the building was out of service for repair and there were 2 ice machines as well in the building out of service.
Other than that everything was fine. Room was nice and clean, AC worked well, it was really hot when we were there. House keeping was great.
I had one drink at the bar in the lobby the day we were leaving and one shot of whiskey was dang near the price of a bottle, extremely expensive! $11 US for one shot of Beam on rocks.

Our favorite place. I can’t wait to come back.
It’s the perfect value property. Last time we stayed, we didn’t know they had an all inclusive option. We booked it this time and it was well worth it. The quesa birria at the light house restaurant is amazing. We had it every morning. I was also very surprised that the wine on the all inclusive package is from Mexico. We loved the Chenin.
The staff is so fantastic everywhere. The pool, front desk, spa parking attendants, excursion desk, etc. When we arrived, we didn’t have a Marina view but had booked one. I called down and they fixed it right away. You must book marina view. It’s the best part with all the sea lion action.
We parked. Parking is free if you’re staying. Our car had manual lights and we didn’t notice, our rental died and the security was able to give us a jump. We were so grateful.
Pool service was fabulous. The pool is quite warm if it’s a hot day. I only wish it was a little cooler and refreshing but it’s fine. The third day it rained in the morning so it was perfect that afternoon. We had Pablo as our server the first day and kept coming back to him. He recommended to us a fantastic local taco spot Tacos Ramiros. Worth a walk into town along with your other adventures into town. Pablo was the best. We will look for him next time!
The massage. Wow. So needed. On our last day. There was a deal $84 usd for 80 minutes. My girl Blanka hooked it up. I was beyond relaxed. My husband had Elizbet and loved her too.
This is not a five star property but it is a great value and we will absolutely be back.

The All Inclusive is crazy, the food is quite delisous, although there is not much variety in 3 days you will have tried almost everything it offers, but it is really excellent. It is very nice, everyone is very friendly and has good view. Great location, hightly recommended.

This Resort was amazing! The staff went above and beyond for us(Israel,Felipe, Anelle, Andres, Pedro, to name a few). They were all friendly and easy to approach. We stayed there for 5 days and we really got to know them and remember their names. It was walking distance to the clubs and restaurants. The back portion was on the Marina and it was easy to get to the boats and the stores near there.
The food on the 1st level was really good! We had the all inclusive package and totally worth it. The pool side food was really good too. On the 2nd floor restaurant we only had breakfast and that was a buffet style option. Lastly the drinks (tamarindo margarita) was the best!!!
